You can either unplug the power cord for a few minutes to clear the memory or print/delete the items in the memory.

If you want to print the documents in memory see page 113 of the manual, you can download it here: http://www.canon.ca/support_images/RightNow_images/Multipass/MP830/mp830_ug_us_v4.pdf

First print the list of documents in memory as stated at the bottom of page 113 then either print or delete all the items using the procedure on page 114.

Well, first trying to reset it to clear the memory by holding the cancel button for up to 15 seconds. If that doesn't work, unplug it and plug it back in and if that doesn't work, then I will look up another reset sequence as I assume the fax is stored in the memory but you still have the fax in paper form to send so resetting the unit should make it work again as it probably is wanting to send the fax in the memory before getting any more. please let me know of any other questions that you may have regarding this

my best to you on this

Dear,
have you switch off power for some minutes and switch it again.
if not, then try to do this.
morevoer, do a printer calibration
check this link and get it done.

regards,

Receiving Faxes

There is no setting to store faxes to memory by default. If the received faxes are being stored in memory, it's because the machine detects a problem that prevents it from printing them, such as no paper, or no ink. Go to this link and type "print received faxes" in the search box and click Search. You will see a number of items to review for troubleshooting your problem.

In Use/Memory FAX after changing ink cartridge

I had the same problem - it would not print the faxes as the machine would not recognize the generic cartridge - I had to get the official Canon cartridge to get the faxes to print out of memory.

Fax memory

This thread might be dead but I found that you CAN turn off report printing, which also frees up the memory, in the Fax->Menu->Maintenance/settings->Device Settings->Fax Settings->TX Settings->TX Report. Turn reporting off and it clears memory also. Hard to find but its there.
