On the MB520 Defy, carefully lift the "top" end Iie nearest the cmera end of the phone)of the red plastic block which sits behind the SD card. It will hinge up out of the way and allow the card to simply slide out from under the shiny metal holder.

To remove the micro SD card push the micro SD card in further, it will click and then pop out.
To insert the new micro SD card insert it into the phone and push it in until it clicks in.

8gb sd card not working in my lgvx9200m

The VX9200 works with microSD cards. Your 8GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work with this phone. You need to use microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

8gb micro SD card cant be formatted

if your SD Card is not write protected and you wont able to format it a virus may have mess with your memory card. Format it in safe mode or you can try a formatting utility that you can use. You can download it on the link below:

Put the SD card in a stand alone card reader, and copy the data off it to your computer. Next, format the SD card, and put it back in your phone.

I put an 8GB microsd card (with an microSD to SD adapter) in may Pentax OptioX and when I open my camera, I have a short delay, then I receive an 'Memory card error'. What's the problem? Thank you.

The S5i uses SD cards. This means you can use microSD cards with an adapter. However, your 8GB card is actually a microSDHC card, which with the adapter appears to the camera as an SDHC card. SDHC cards are electronically incompatible with SD devices and will not work. You need to use SD and/or microSD cards, which max out at 2GB in size.

Can't download music to mini sd for ATT 8525

There are 2 ways to do this.

The first is to get a microSD card reader, take the card out of the phone, put it into the card reader and plug that into your computer.
Then this will show up as a flash drive, and you will be able to drag-and-drop, or copy and paste.

The second is, when you have your phone connected to your computer, and ActiveSync is active, you can explore your phone and microSD card.

At the top of the ActiveSync window is the "Explore" button.
Click on it, and a new window should open up.
Click on "My Windows Mobile-Based Device", then "Storage Card"
You can drag-and-drop or copy and paste.

If you can't see the "Storage Card" folder, your phone may not recognize the microSD card.
The original Windows Mobile 5 (WM5), only recognized standard microSD cards up to 2GB.
You would have to upgrade the software/firmware to WM6 to recognize microSDHC cards of 4GB, 8GB and above.

It looks like you have Vista, I have XP, your results may vary.
