What is the code for a sanyo tv and how do I program it

If your TV is older than the URC-4220, the code should be 0154. (The universal remote generally can only control devices that were released about 6 months or more before the remote was programmed.)

To program the remote, turn on the TV manually. Then press the TV button on the remote once. Press and hold Set until the LED blinks twice. Release the Set button at that point. Enter 0154, check if the LED blinks twice again. If the LED blinked properly, point the remote at the TV and press Power. If the TV turns off, this is the correct code. If you take too long between steps, the remote may leave the setting mode. If the LED didn't blink, start over from pressing the TV button on the remote.

The manual for the One-for-All URC-4220 remote is available here: http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11828/~/programming-and-operating-the-oneforall-urc4220-universal-remote-control . Scroll past the directions for using and programming the remote to the link to the Owner's Manual. The list of codes starts at page 36.

I hope this helps.

If you have the pro version of Windows 7 then you can run the program in compatibility mode (selecting Vista).
After you install the program, find the exe file and right click. Go to properties and click on the Compantibility Tab. You'll see options to run the software in a mode other than Windows 7.

NEED SONY CODES FOR PHILLIPS REMOTE

Universal Remote Control Simple Setup

* Point it at a TV set and press the Mute/Power button. (Mute button if TV is already on, or Power button if the TV hasnt already been turned on)

* Keep pointing it at the TV until the TV turns on or muted, most TVs respond in about 5 seconds, the most is up to 20 seconds. (Other universal television remote you find in stores take minutes to program and enter long confusing codes)

* Once the TV is muted or turns on, simply let go of button and you have total control. You can use the remote as if you had the original remote, and responds instantly. ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM of choices with our remote!
Most remote controls require minutes of programming a universal remote code into each television while you read the confusing instruction manual.

I've got the same tv and...I've still got the manual!;-)

Programming the Remote to control other audio and video products:
  1. Move the slide switch at the top of the remote to select the a/v product you want to control (in this case, DVD).
  2. Press and hold the Power button so that it stays down when you enter the code.
  3. Enter the code for the equipment. Release the Power button
  4. Point the remote at the equipment and press the Power button. If the equipment respondes, you're done. If not, and you have more codes that apply to that equipment, go back the step 2 and try the next number.
If none of the numbers work, I'm afraid you might be out of luck.

This should sort you out, but if you can't get the link, you remove the receiver from the pc and reconnect it after a few seconds. Press and hold the "Next" button on the remote (the right arrow) until the red light on the remote turns back on. the LED on the receiver should turn from flashing green to solid green then back to flashing green.
