Hiya

the only hose you will need to fit is the cold one, due to the machine having an internal heater, and the machine needs the cold water for the rinse cycle.

hope this helps

Why is the hot water pipe dripping after tighening up.

First the is a hot and cold water pipe. To those are connected hot and cold water outlet bib valves to which are connected, respectively, hot and cold water hoses going to (or you could say, coming from) their respective connections to the washer. Correct this if I am wrong but, it appears you might be talking about those hose connections to the water spigots but calling them pipes, not hoses. If that is true, you contecture is correct: it is most typically a worn out hose washer or o-ring and replacing that item should correct any dripping. By sure the part is characterized for hot water.

Hot water barely comes out,

If you switched the feed hoses over and the problem reversed itself, cold has gone from fast to slow useing the hot water pipe and hot from slow to fast useing the cold water pipe then this would indicate a fault in the water supply from the hot pipe. What sort of pressure is coming from the hot pipe when not connected to the machine but filling in to a bucket? Are there any shut off valves before the pipe that supplies the hot water? Are they fully turned on? Any kinks in the feed pipe for the hot water? Has the hot water feed pipe collapsed internally? Change the pipe to check this and not just at the machine side.

sounds like the mix valve on the washer is broken and not opening properly -- the mix valve is the valve that both hot and cold water are connected to on the back of the machine.. turn off water valves and remove the hoses,, remove the back panel from the washer -- the mixer is held in place by one little screw,, also mark the wires going to the mixer ( hot/cold ) --- remove the mixer valve and take it down to your local appliance repair shop and match it up to a new one -- install the new mixer and connect wires and panel and then hoses and all will be working good as new.

Hot Water pipe is not connected. Cold water is ...

The best way to stop your situation is to connect the hot hose to the hot tap. A hardware store should have a female cap you can screw onto the back of the machine, or get a male plug, same thread as a tap and plug the end of the hot hose. Elevating the end of the hot hose may help..It's normal for water to flow out the hose as you've described...Good luck...Nomess

If the pipes were installed properly, then the hot is on the left, cold on right.

Hook it up that way, then set it on the smallest load possible, with hot water setting only. If you have hot water filling the basin, you have it hooked up properly.

Orientation of inlet pipes

I am not to sure if this answers your question but I think you are asking which way the hot and cold hoses connect to the wasing machine? if this is the case if you look on the back of the washing machine you will see stamped in the metel a H for hot connect the hot water inlet hose to this, If it is not marked, hook up the hot water hose to the washing machine and place the water temp selector to hot and turn machine on if hot water comes out you have the correct hose hooked up,if not then the cold water hose goes were you hooked up the hot water hose. hope this helps

Check hose error on electrolux wave touch washing machine

I'm sure nojallo1 has already fixed his but I just ran into the same problem and didn't find anything in my searches for a solution. The problem I had was the test cycle wasn't long enough to get hot water through my water lines so it could verify the hot and cold hoses were in the proper places. Solution: Turn the hot water on in all the sinks in your house until they have hot water running through them. This will prime your hot water line so it is full of hot water instead of cold water. Then run the install cycle again and it should be fine.

Special water hose needed?

i dont know of of a"special hose". are we talking about water inlet (hot and cold) hoses??drain hose??? or a vent hose for dryer???
1. stainless steel non-bursting fill hoses are available in up to 6' lentgh's
2. drain hose can be extended if need be, i would make it as short of an extension as needed, and use a hose of atleast the existing diameter and make sure that it wont, bent or pinch off after putting into drain pipe
3. dryer venting should be a solid aluminum 4" pipe as shosrt as possible with least amount of elbows needed.
all available at a quaitly home improvemnet store/ hardware store

Should the washer be hot after the rinse cycle?

Try cycling a cold/cold wash and see how that comes out.. if it comes out hot then your water inlet valve is letting hot water in when it shouldn't.. conversely, try cycling a hot/hot wash and see that it does indeed come out hot... ( quick tests to verify performance)..hope this helps.
