Thank you for responding, Roger. I am widowed and have no one to help with this problem. I have been in this house for 14 years - it was here when I moved in. It is a Honeywell Chromotherm III. The only numbers I find on it are 97-3663 - hope this helps. I have taken pictures, but not sure how to add them here. I'll try sending them by replying to the email.

I tried sending pictures through email, but don't believe they went through. Please let me know how I can do this. Thank you.

Hi Roger - thank you for hanging in there for me. I finally was able to loosen the screws and jiggle the thing off the wall. Replaced the batteries and think it is working well now. Thanks again.

One more thing, Roger - I do not have a manual on this thermostat. Do you know if there is one available online or perhaps where I could order one. That probably would have helped me with my dilemna. Thanks.

Thermostats almost always snap onto their sub base. Look closely around the stat. You will see the prongs that secure it. Be gentle.

I'm sorry that did not help. Can you tell me what Brand and type of thermostat it is? A picture would really help. Is it a newly installed unit? Please give me all you can for info.. We will get this done. Model number too. If need be, I will look it up for you. Thank you for your patience!

Hello again. I am sorry for my delay in response. I have a few medical problems and was laying down. I sincerely apologize for not being more thorough with my answer. Most just pull off but some have screws. Try looking in the lower 2 corners under the flip down cover. There should be 1 screw on each side. Loosen them counter clockwise. The bottom should then be free to pull out, lifting it slightly will remove it. You get 30 to 40 seconds to replace the 3 AA battery's before it will lose its program and you will need to reset your times of operation. Please let me know how you are doing again,OK?

Just checking to make sure you are OK. feel free to write any time.

I'm happy to help. I am new on the site and found I enjoy helping. Please write anytime you have a problem. Thanks for grading me too. It helped me improve.

How do I change the battery on lift master pro

You can purchase a replacement battery assembly from for $69 (I just replaced mine). If your battery backup is mounted on top of your opener, you simply unplug the backup white plug from the back lower right corner of the opener. There are two screws holding the battery pack to the opener, one on each side which need to be removed with a Phillips screwdriver and saved to install the new battery pack. Then simply lift off the old back up power suppl (careful, it's about 8+ lbs) and install the new one, being careful to install the screws snugly and plug in the new backup. (Ceiling mounting is simply unplugging the backup unit and removing the two mounting screws from the ceiling; then reversing for the new unit) The green light will start flashing rapidly showing its charging and will do so for several days. Then it will turn solid green showing a full charge and you are set for years of backup readiness. Some words of caution: Some places sell only the replacement batteries. They do NOT have the same connections as the original batteries. So unless you are willing to purchase crimp-on connectors and do your own wiring, don't waste your money. Plus, if the electronic circuitry is bad and not just the batteries, you will waste money and time. My suggestion is buy the EverCharge as a unit and save the headaches. I did.

Have several Tripp Lite Omniplus 1000LCD UPS battery backups that are no longer working. They are several years old. I assume that these units need new batteries. Where do I get battery replacements,...

A little research on the internet will answer your questions about battery replacements and cost. There are numerous sites selling batteries for your particular unit. Do a Google search on the battery type and see what you get. EBay is another possible source for batteries once you determine which size and what ratings you need for your replacements. The best way of determining how to replace the batteries is to open the UPS's case and carefully record how you remove the old batteries and then install the new ones in reverse order. You will have to open the UPS up to get at the batteries to determine type and specs so removal and re-installation should be easy from there.

I have a GE 7-Day in-wall Programmable Digital Timer Model # 15086 which I installed about a year ago and was working fine until a few days ago. The screen went blank and the unit does not work. It acts...

The battery is not easily replaceable. It's a 1.2 volt, 80ma Nickel-metal hydride battery, that is soldered to the circuit board. I opened the back of the switch to find the battery. The one in this switch was in bad shape. It looks like the battery broke apart, but wasn't leaking. The switch is less then a year old. Bad design.

I just opened this up today and am going to look for a replacement battery. But soldering will obviously be involved to get the a new battery back in place.

The site that you need for the repair manual is and in the middle of the page towards the bottom type in your model number to get to the page with a parts explosion. I briefly looked at it and it appears that there are 2 bolts on the back of the cover and then you would lift the back and slide the 2 flats on the front out to remove it. Also a concern is that about a 1/3 of these parts are no longer available. If you need any more help let me know and have a good day.

Camera will not retain time setting

Firts check the state of the litium battery, this is locate near the Audio/video port in your camera, with small flat screw driver you will be able to remove it. If the same situation occur after replacing the litium battery and i'm assuming the unit had never be open before unfortunately your camera needs new main board ass'y. But if the case is that some one open the unit before check for a loose conector from the litium unit to the main board.
