My board is dell made model D865 with 2.6 GHZ processor but my board is not working properly its very slow speed for installing any operating program

Go to 'Start' and then Run
write "msconfig" inside Run tab and press 'enter'
inside the 'System configuration utility' window click on 'startup' tab then uncheck all the applications except your current antivirus and press apply then 'ok' and then 'exit without restart' option.

Now right click My Computer and go to properties tab.
click 'Advanced' tab then under performance menu click on 'settings'
go to 'Advanced' click on 'change' and increase your virtual memory to 2048 in both spaces.
Now restart windows.

1) Delete all unwanted data from Drive C.

2) Delete all data that you have copied from Drive C to External HDD

3) Open My computer and go to Tools---> Folder Options---->Click on View Tab----> Check 'Show hidden files and folders' and select OK.

4) Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp and Delete everything that you see inside Temp Folder

5) Go to C:\WINDOWS\ here you will find folders like $hf_mig$, here you will have to Delete all the folders starting and ending with $ sign.

6) Empty Recycle bin and restart the PC

There are many things that might cause your PC to run slowly. It could be a fragmented disk; fragmented registry; a virus, Trojan, or spy ware; high CPU and/or utilization due to too many programs running; high disk I/O; or something else.

To check your CPU and memory utilization, run Task Manager. You can start Task Manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and then clicking on the Task Manager Button. In Task manager, click on the Performance tab and check CPU Usage and PF Usage. PF Usage is an indicator of memory usage. If one or both of these is high, click on the Processes tab, and sort the columns by CPU or Memory to see what processes are consuming the resource. If you are not sure what the process "Image name" is for, Google the name and you should find what the process is for.

If your CPU and memory usage are reasonable, then you may have a different issue. Even if you running anti-virus software, it may be beneficial to scan your PC with another scanner to check for viruses. No anti-virus software is 100% perfect at catching everything. Here are a few good free online virus scanners that you can run to check your PC:

An excellent free utility for overall system maintenance is Advanced System Care Free ( http://download.cnet.com/advanced-systemcare-free/3000-2086_4-10407614 .html ). I use this utility on a regular basis.

You should always run anti-virus software. There are several very good, free, anti-virus products available. One good source to read editor and user reviews, and safely download anti-virus software, is http://download.cnet.com -- search for free antivirus software. In addition to the reviews, you can see how many people are downloading the software, which is another good indicator of how popular it is.

I have used AVG Free ( http://download.cnet.com/avg-anti-virus-free/3000-2239_4-10320142.html ) , and Avast Free ( http://download.cnet.com/avast-free-antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.htm l ). Both are very good, and completely free. At present I am using Avast on all of my home computers.

In addition to Avast or one of the other free anti-virus software packages, I also run Ad-Aware ( http://download.cnet.com/ad-aware-free-internet/3000-8022_4-10045910.h tml ). Ad-Aware is a free anti-malware, anti-spyware package.

Good luck!

Can you help me to get rid of those toolbars?, i already uninstall it but they're still there.

search via google for a utility called ComboFix. Make sure the link that you select via google is from a web-site called "bleeping computer". before running the application make sure that you are connected to the internet and make sure that your anti-virus program is disabled because the utility will not run to its full potential. Then download an application called Advanced System care and click on utiltities then select uninstall application. Select the toolbar and remove all files. last of all download malwarebytes from malwarebytes website. toolbars which are still there are usually malware. scan and delete files from the quarantine

Delete the anti-virus software.

Download FREE anti-virus software from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials
and install it. Allow it to do a "full" scan of your computer -- a computer-virus may be preventing the use of System Restore and Windows Update.

It may be 'held' by your anti-virus program, if you have one - i find that often with McAfee. You may be able to delete it by turning off the anti-virus program and re-booting, then try to delete it.

The computer locks up when I an runing 2 or more programs. I have replaced the memory and reinstalled operating system. I also reformated my hard drive.

Make sure you have enough Ram. Then check for viruses.

This actually sound like the Rogue Virus. This Virus normally corrupts your computer. You probably will need to do a Reformat. Be sure and do a Back-up First., because you will loose everything.

If you know how to do a back-up, save all your documents, pictures and music. If not take it to a reputable computer shop to take of this. There will be a slight charge, but they will save all your important data.
