Nintendo Wii Error Code 52030<br /><br />The most likely cause of error <b>52030</b> is that the router securityinformation was entered incorrectly on your Wii or that your router is unableto assign an IP address to the Wii.<br /><br />If this problem <b>just started</b>, and your Wii was working before, then tryto <b>power cycle</b> your equipment. Turn off the modem, router and Wii. After10 seconds turn on the Modem, after 30 seconds turn on your router, and after30 seconds turn on the Wii.<br /><br />If this does not work then continue below,<br /><br /><b>Make sure</b> your wireless <a href="/../support/r9300725-nintendo_error_code_52030"><span><span>network<span>security</span></span></span></a> password and security typeis entered into your Nintendo Wii correctly. You can go into your routersconfiguration page to view the security key and view security type. If needed, you can change these. On most routers, you can access the configuration page byopening your Internet Browser and going to the router ip address(gatewayaddress) 192.168.1.1 This address may vary from router to router. Once you goto this address you should get a login page. Login and then go to your Wirelesssettings page to view the settings you need for your Wii. Once you verify thesecurity key and type, input these settings into your Wii and test theconnection. What is DCHP? This is Dynamic HostConfiguration Protocol. In short, it means your router or <a href="/../support/r9300725-nintendo_error_code_52030"><span><span>server</span></span></a> will assign IP and DNSaddresses out automatically, with no intervention needed from you. If you aremanually using settings(not using DCHP) you will need to assign an IP/DNSaddress to your Wii.<br /><br /><b>To get </b>to the Wii settings to input an IP address and DNS address, dothe following,<br /><br />Access the Wii System settings and select "Internet" from Page 2.<br />Select "Connection Settings" and choose the connection file youcurrently use (will have a red border around it).<br />Select "Change Settings," and click the right blue arrow twice toreach "Auto-Obtain IP Address."<br />Click on "No" and select "Advanced Settings."<br /><br />Enter in your IP address, DNS address and subnet mask information.<br /><br />A Wii connection test should confirm the internet is now working. Again, mosthome networks use DCHP so you may not need to set an IP address.<br /><br />-<b>Interference</b> can also cause this issue. Try and make sure there are nowireless devices around the Wii and router and the Wii is in an open areawithout devices blocking it.<br />-<b>Change your router's channel</b> setting to 1 or 11. By default, mostrouters broadcast on channel 6, which overlaps with other channels and may beweaker.<br /><br />If you are still having trouble, you may want to reach out to NintendoTechnical Support at 1-800-255-3700<br /><br />-G33k<br /><br />Check out some of my other tech articles!<br /><a href="/../support/r9300521-nintendo_wii_error_code_51031">Nintendo Wii Error Code 51031</a><br /><a href="/../support/r9300387-tuneup_utilities_prefetch_data_deleted">Tuneup utilities prefetch data deleted</a><br /><a href="/../support/r9275311-computer_freezes_computer_stuck">Computer freezes, computer stuck</a><br /><a href="/../support/r9256225-disable_enable_microsoft_windows_startup">How to disable/enable Microsoft Windows startup programs</a><br /><a href="/../support/r9223119-garmin_gps_stuck_not_updating_no">Garmin GPS - stuck , not updating, no signal problems</a><br /><br />Keywords<br /><b>Nintendo Wii Error Code 52030, Wii error code 52030, Wii 52030, Nintendo Wiiinternet issues, Wii internet, Nintendo Wii internet</b>

No power plugged in outlet working plugged into back no lights comming on

Either 1) your Wii's power adapter is broken, or 2) your Wii is broken. If you have a friend who has a Wii, you could try borrowing their power adapter and seeing if the Wii turns on. If it does, then you know your power adapter was broken, and you can purchase a replacement.Otherwise, you're going to have to look into repairing the Wii. If you device is under warranty, Nintendo will repair it for you.
Consult Nintendo's troubleshooting guide here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/ts/index.jsp
Good luck.

My Wii has a red light when plugged in, and a green one while turned, on, the problem is, nothing is displayed on the tv or heard, also, the disk drive whirrs for a few second after turning on. The tv...

If the light is red, it means WiiConnect24 is turned off. Green means the system is turned on and it's normal for the Wii to whirr a bit when it's initially turned on.
Completely power down your system by pressing the power button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, unplug the AC Adapter from the Wii for a moment, then plug it back in.
That said, Nintendo recommends calling them if this doesn't fix your problem. Hope this helps.

Wii power problem!

You are not getting the correct voltage into the Wii, this can happen one of three ways. (1) The power converter you have is not converting the power correctly, (2) running on converters are not exactly matching the correct voltage and wattage has strained your power supply and damaged the Wii, or (3) the power supply itself just failed as a result of any number of normal electrical conditions.

No power to my wii. outlet is good.

Try the Wii in another working outlet just to see if it turns on. If it doesn't then try another AC Adapter in the Wii. If it still doesn't turn on with a new AC Adapter then that means the mainboad is bad inside of the Wii. If the Wii turns on then that means your old AC Adapter is bad.

Hello my name is greg and we were having trouble with our electricity and we shut off the wrong sircut breaker and now our WII doesnt turn on but we are unsure if it is the power cord

The best way is checking the power cord with voltmeter or some unit like charger for mobile phone (plug it and look the phone charging). If the power cord is OK plug the Wii AC adapter. If Wii not turn on check the AC adapter with voltmeter. If working the problem is in your Wii console and it need repairing. If AC adapter not work just buy new.
