No it wont, but check first to see you have a open slot compatible to accept a video card. By using a video card instead of the on board video on *********** board you wont be stealing precious memory from your system. Video cards have there own on board memory and dont use the computer memory in your system. You will see a increase in performance on your machine and the graphics in anything you do will be greatly increase especially in games. Video cards are a very easy upgrade to help your computer perform much better for you.

I hope this helps you out.

I would invest in a more powerful machine to get the most value for my money. I found some very nice computers online at Amazon and at "The Computer Store".

My card freezes up the computer and the screen shows pixels. It worked fine for a while then just stopped. I'm wondering if it's a driver issue. I have an HP m7330n media center.

Hello superfli36, I had same problem with my video card, my best advice to you is your video card got everheated if it shows pixels freezes up, video card needs to be replaced, don't waste you time try to fix it its alot cheaper you can buy new one for less.

Good Luck

I have a rdx200 mother board w/4lights on

Unfortunately, as it sounds like a definite video problem, and the rdx200 has no onboard video, you will need to purchase a cheap test video card to test. I would look to newegg.com for a cheap PCI video card, just enough to get video on the board. you can then begin your testing.

Once you've obtained a cheap video card, if it boots and you receive video you at least know it is not the board itself. If you still get no video, the likelihood is you'll be purchasing a new motherboard for your system.

If you do get video, and you've had the system for only a year, it should still be under warranty. Check with the company you bought the system from for warranty and RMA (return merchandise authorization) procedures.

DFI NB78-BC, chipset i845PE does not work with TNT2 Vanta VL 16MB

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the DFI NB78-BC does not support the TNT2 Vanta VL 16mb. so what you need to do is take your computer into a computer store have them look at it and they can get you the correct video card that is compatible for your computer!

HP D530 Video card upgrade

If the HP D530 has an AGP slot, which I think it does, then yes you can install the Radeon HD 4350 card.
Make sure you have the correct driver for the video card.
Go to this site for more info:

Hello there I have a P4 2.66 intel D845GRG chipset 2gig Ram and would like to upgrade my MSI GeForce4 MX440 Video card, I play CS1.6 online and would like to improve video quality and performance

Well the board and chip are fairly slow...

But... not too slow... so you can buy a new graphics card..

Luckily for you, the AGP slot cards have not completely disappeared off the face of the earth yet, and you could buy a cheap used one or even a new one if you like to waste money on old computers.

I suggest a 6600GT used or something similar.

try to get a 6 or 7 series or decent radeon 2900 or 2600xt or 3850 if you really want to blow the cash.

BUY AN AGP BOARD!! do not buy a PCI-Express board, as it will not plug into your motherboard.

Also check if you have an AGP slot before you buy a board.

Shader 3 compatibility?

Hey,

If you look at this page you can see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_shader#Hardware_Compatability

PS version (pixel shader version supported / compatible)
so that would be for shader 3 requirement

Ati Radeon x1300 to x1950 cards support it Also!
Nvidia Geforce 6 and newer.

The Radeon hd 3xxx and newer support version 4 (everything 1 2 3 4)

well you can see on the list.

If you want a cheap card with just shader 3 support

get ati radeon x1900 or better
or Nvidia 8 series, nvidia 8600 GT for example.

Do you need a place to buy them from?

in the USA - http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.aspx?Category=38&name=Video-Cards-Video-Devices

for example, this one is cheap
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814140104

But it requires a PCI-E slot on the computer. Looking at your computer you have a agp slot, I think its time to buy a new computer for the newer games.

Upgrade Video Card

I would recommend picking up a higher watt power supply just to keep up with the changing demands on computers. They are not to do yourself. If still wondering what cards can go with a 300 watt power: Maybe an ATi Radeon 9250 256mb? It seems that a 350 watt power supply should still be minimum nowadays and they are cheap.
