we are currently using Brother MFC 8220. We were adivised by our client that they have faxed one document last 20 July. I tried to look for it from my file but of no avail. Now I'm wondering, if they rhave really sent it or not. Is there a way we could print report of old raxes we have received and specify which we need that report?

I finally located a phone numbe for the Brother-USA Sales Dept. (888-615-9119). The part was $4 plus shipping and handling ($10 total). It took a bit of doing for them to identify the part and determine the part number. I had to fax them a machine parts diagram from the MFC-8220 manual. Go figure.
Here's the manual. Look at page 6-8. That tells how to turn on real-time transmission. You just need to do the same thing, except switch it to off when you get to that step.
