Hi David,

It looks like you're missing two more null's in the third record, the column count is only 21 and you have 23 fields in your destination table.

All your data matches up to the columns, but you'll need to insert ", null, null" before the last paren to cover CompanyURL and companyPhone):

('Karson', 'B', 'Campbell', null, 'Dr.', 'Chief Resident', 'Pediatrics', 'kbc232@mvch.org', null, null, '585-544-1212', 'home', '1955-01-05', 'Wife: Molly Kids: Cassidy, Justine, and Cory.', 'Mountain View Hospital', null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null, null )

Need to make my table display in rows instead of column.

David, what you're looking for is pivot table functionality. Unfortunately, that is not a built-in feature for MySQL (it is for SQL Server 2005/2008).
Not knowing your table structure, or the size/number of rows/columns, I found the following link to be most helpful example: MySQL Pivot Table Example

My worksheet has a lot of pages visible and so my columns and rows are very small..How can i manage this?

The number of pages you have is not related to the size of the columns and rows. You can set those to any size you wish.
By "a lot of pages" do you mean there are many colums or many tabs?
If you have lots of columns, just resize them to a good size. Each tab acts like a separate sheet and the columns and rows can be sized independently of the others.
So, right-click on the column letters and choose the column size you want.
Right-click on the row numbers and do the same for row height.

How do you determine the amount of columns to be used in a web design table?

You need to decide how you want the web page to appear. Most simple web pages have 2 or 3 colums to separate the content. If you are adding images, this may influence the width of a colum. e.g. if an image is 300px wide, then the column should be at least 300px wide. A web page may be set to a size suitable for viewing in browsers, the most common widths being between 600 and 925px. So if a web page is 600px wide, you would only get 2 columns of 300px width, or 3 columns of 200px width.

How do I set my settings to display the size of individual e-mails?

You don't tell us what email program you are using.
Assuming you have Windows Vista and are using Windows Mail, just open your inbox, right click any column title on the email display window, select "Columns..." and then scroll down the list of available information items and check "Size", so that a column showing the size of the emails shows. You can then place the column in the position you want (just left click the colum title and hold and then drag and drop the column in the new location).
I have not presently installed Outlook in my computer, but I think the proceedings were just about the same.

OS X 10.4 PHP MySQL problem

To change the location where MySQL creates its socket file, do this:
1. Open your preferred text editor and create a plain text file.
2. Type this text (on two lines as shown):
[mysqld]
socket=/tmp/mysql.sock

3. Save the file as: /etc/my.cnf

To change the location where PHP looks for the socket file, follow these steps:
1. In Terminal: sudo cp /etc/php.ini.default /etc/php.ini
2. Open /etc/php.ini in your preferred text editor.
3. Find the [MySQL] section, and change the mysql.default_socket directive:
4. ; Default socket name for local MySQL connects. If empty, uses
5. the built-in
6. ; MySQL defaults.
7. mysql.default_socket = /var/mysql/mysql.sock
8. Change the permissions on /var/mysql so that www can read the socket, by executing this in Terminal:
sudo chmod 775 /var/mysql
