TYhe iRobot Roomba has different model designations. Here is a webpage with a list of what the beeps mean in the 400 series. I am thinking that is what you have. 3 beeps means the dirt cup is dirty, filters are dirty, or debris in collecting and it needs to be cleaned.

Here is the webpage:

Hope this helps. If it does, I would appreciate a vote. Thanks,

As Roomba 400 Series/Discovery cleans, it communicates with songs, beeps, and indicator lights. It also uses sounds to let you know when there's a problem or it needs maintenance. Here are the most common error codes, what they mean, and how to resolve the problem. If the problem cannot be resolved, click here to contact iRobot Customer Support.

Good morning...My brand new Roomba 440 after being charged all night will run on its own for a while...but it bumps into walls or chairs and changes direction as it should, but then it stops in the middle...

Rather than try to repair it or look into it, call the dealer or take it back to him as you will invalidate your warranty if you do anything to the unit, and that is not worth it. Let the dealer worry about it.

Roomba 560 won't run correctly

if it's 5 beeps it says: Drive wheel is stuck
You should clean both , push both in and out and confirm it turns freely

Good luck

My roomba 580 runs perfectly for 10 minutes then stops dead without returning to the charger and without the usual beep to notify you of an error

seems like a battery fault.
can you start it after it stops?
how old is it?
try reset and deep charge it
hope that helps

Spins, stops and can't find dock

The problem is your Roomba's bumper. Tap it with your hand about a dozen times, blow it out with compressed air, and then try running the Roomba. If the same thing occurs, call support at 1-877-855-8593. (Be sure to have the Roomba with you when you call.)

Roomba red 4100 cleans in small circle stops starts agains cleans small circle stops then status light comes on and clean button blinks.

When the status light comes on, the Roomba is going to sing "uh-oh," and then beep a number of times. Count the beeps. They're a code that tells you what's wrong with the Roomba. You can check iRobot's website for a chart of beep codes. Search "What is Roomba saying to me?" on the troubleshooting page.

Roomba stops and beeps three times and the max light keeps flashing....

Just fixed my roomba that was doing the stop after 2-5 minutes of running, beep 3 times ect... What I did was took off the back part (the trash bin) removed the 5 screws on the bottom, this removes the top and bottom shell, then I removed the 2 screws that are at the bottom of the vacuum's motor. And I cleaned it with a damp cloth. Once clean I let it air dry. She is running like she is new :-)
