You remove the lower panel just under the door by removing 3 screws under the curved part 1 each corner and 1 center, once that is done you will have only min working room,\.

CLEAN PUMP LIGHT COMES ON WHERE IS THE PUMP LOCATED

The pump is located behind front bottom panel on the right side assuming that your machine is a Whirlpool or Kenmore Front-Loader. Disconnect power and remove the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access and remove the screws more easily.

Once the panel is off, remove the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise. Clean the filter from any debris that prevents water from draining out properly. Click on the link below for further troubleshooting should the cleaning of the filter does not resolve the problem.

Kenmore elliet washing machine, front loader

To open the door manually:

UNPLUG the machine...

Remove the toekick panel (way down at the bottom).

Feeling along the inside of the front panel. You should be able to find a tab shaped like a teardrop attached to the door latch unit.

Pull the tab down just a little bit ... gently ... until the door opens (or you hear the latch click - then try to open the door).

Is the machine displaying a code?

Where is the pump/filter located on my Kenmore Front Loader Washe

It is just behind the lower panel. Remove the 3 screws from the lower panel (the panel just below the door), the screws are on the lip on the bottom of the panel facing the front of the machine. Pull down and toward you to get the panel off. The filter and clean out are in the center. Unscrew the cap to remove and clean out, but have lots of towels ready, there will be water coming out.

Kenmore front load is leaking from the bottom.

If this is a Kenmore FRONT LOADER you need to remove the lower toe panel directly below the door to inspect the cabinet interior for the source of your leak. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576656-washer_leak__front_loader

The most common source of leaks on a front loader is the rubber door bellow. The bellow can develop cracks, rips or tears with age and needs to replaced. The following link explains how:

F02l Problem that everyone else is having/

If this is in reference to the "F21" error code on a Kenmore Elite front loader, the bottom panel is directly below the door. It comes off by removing the screws under the bottom front edge. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off.

NOTE: You may have to prop the two front feet of the washer up for better access (a 2 x 4 works well for this).

"F21" is a Long Drain error code, which usually means the drain pump reservoir is clogged with debris, the drain lines are obstructed, or the drain is not working. The following link explains:

If this is not what you are talking about, or if you have questions about this repair, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Removeal of external case below loader door

If you are talking about the lower kick panel, all you have to do is remove the three 7mm (torx) screws under the bottom edge of the panel. HINT: If you prop the front feet of the washer up it makes access much easier. (I use a couple small blocks of wood). Once the screws are removed, the panel should drop down then come off. If the panel sticks, just tap on either side and it should come loose. I hope you find this information helpful. If you need further assistance, please post back and let me know.
