My printer is printing blank pages the printer is connected to my computer and the paper goes through the printer but nothing is on the page

Hello, please check if the ink in the catridge is finished, and if not then check if the catridge is blocked. bring out the catridge and shake or spine it around, then place it in you hand and see if there is any stain and clean it out. Then put it back and try again.

Check the settings in Windows Print Manager.

Make sure that the paper quality matches what is in the printer. If set to glossy, minimal ink is deposited on the page. Also, check the print quality - draft quality provides a minimal amount of ink as well.

HP LaserJet 4L quit working It's connected to my PC and it's on. All 4 lights are on; 2 green and 2 orange. When I try to print, the paper goes through but nothing is printed on the paper.


Empty cartridge maybe?
Otherwise it's simple: selt-test page(by printer button) printed ok - it's outer problem. Self-page is blank - it's inner problem. And so on... use Golden Section method

Feeds a blank sheet of paper after every print job


check and see if your cursor goes to the next page after your last written one in your document. If so then backspace to your last written page so that the blank page disappears because having this page the computer takes it as part of the document but because there is nothing on it a blank page comes out.

To allow for full use of the cartridges, some printers continue to print even after the cartridges are completely out of ink. First, check the ink levels. If the ink level indicators show that a cartridge is low or empty, replace the cartridge.
If not, try to restart the printer. Restarting the printer might clear the issues and allow the printer to function correctly again.Press the power button to turn-off the printer then unplug the power cord from the back of the printer, and the USB cable(if connected). Leave unplug for 30 seconds then reconnect the USB cable and the power cord.
If issue persists, try to reboot your computer. Restarting your computer might resolve the issue. If the printer prints all pages correctly, but it adds blank pages to the printout, check for blank pages in the print preview.
If the preview contains no blank pages, check the printer cables. If the printer connects with a USB cable or an Ethernet cable, a faulty connection might cause the issue.
If the issue persists, check the printer settings on the computer. Issues with the printer settings on the computer might cause the issue. Follow these steps to check the computer: Step one: Check the default paper settings. Make sure that the default paper size matches the width and length of the paper loaded in the tray. If the paper loaded in the tray is different from the paper size setting, the printer might print blank pages. For instance, the issue might occur if legal size paper (215 x 355 mm (8.5 x 14 in)) is in the tray, and the paper size setting is letter (215 x 279 mm (8.5 x 11 in)).Follow these steps to check the default paper settings.Click Start then go to Printers and Faxes .Right-click the icon for your printer (c01532298.gif ), and then click Printing Preferences . If the document prints successfully in the alternate program, you do not need to continue troubleshooting. The issue is likely specific to the program you are trying to print from. Consult the program manufacturer for assistance. If the document still prints blank pages in the alternate program, disconnect other devices. Printing blank pages on Lexmark C510 printer. Throws a 34 Short Paper error first, prints out a blank page. I have replaced the black toner, but problem continues. Demo page printed colors successfully but...


For 34 Short Paper error, reseat the tray guides and make sure it is set properly. Also, set the correct settings in the computer. For blank pages, always double-check the paper settings and again the settings in the computer. For not printing black, print the Print Quality page and see what color is not printed or not showing. If Print Quality shows black, try printing any document from any application in the computer. Check if you still have the problem. If problem is not resolved, leave a comment so I can get back to this.

HP 920c Deskjet feeds blank paper constantly. Will not print. Just shoots paper out.


deskjet 920c will not print, green light flashes and blank paper comes out. Printer will print test page perfectly.

Printing is blank...no ink coming out on to paper


Your printer cartiage will be out of ink.

Or it will be dry cause of not used from long time.

Change the printer cartiage may fix this problem.

When I click "Print" paper feeds through the printer, but nothing prints


try to reload your catridge on the carrier or cartridge holder..
and clean your printer tab circuit and also the cartridge tab circuit and run maintenance page on it..
go to your printer panel and select maintenance ..browse clean printhead..and print maintenance page..to clean the cartridge..

HP LaserJet 3550 spits out blank paper when job sent from computer but prints fine when printing directly from printer


Try connecting the printer via the USB port on either one of the computers. Then test if the machine prints fine then likely possibility is that the Network interface card is faulty remove the network card and install in a different slot and test. If the same thing happens then reinstall the drivers and test.
