Anyone know the decalcification process? - Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop - Gray/ Purple Vacuum

If anyone else has this problem, like I did. It goes in front of the motor, to the right if your facing the vaccum. I don't know what purpose it serves however. The plastic cover for the brush roller helps to hold it in place. -djhurt1

We have no way to look this information up. I suggest you contact the factory parts help line, they can id the part by the location in the appliance.

I know you wrote this a long time ago, so perhaps you've found the answer elsewhere (everyone here seems to think you have a vacuum cleaner)--in fact maybe you've learned enough by now to help me, since I'd like to clean my own Esccelsa. What I can tell you is that it was built by R.I.V. in Turin, and that the manual which came with it wouldn't help you. I've seen it, and--as with a lot of products back in the old days--it's extremely brief. The only thing they mention about taking it apart is urging you not to, and as for maintenance, all they say is to squirt vaseline oil on the bushings.

However, the Esccelsa is the same basic design as most other pasta machines, including the Marcatos and Imperias of today, and on youtube I've found videos of owners of these describing the process of removing the bottom and side plates to get at the rollers, though I've yet to find a video of anyone actually doing it.

This is because the fall of the phone has damaged the MICROPHONE of the phone. So what you are talking is not processed and send on to the caller.
The fall could have dismantled the mic connection or shifted the mic.If so remove phone and reset, check for cracks , if visible correct and solder.

That is not the solution. I have purchased several tanks and the issue is not the tank it is leaking from the bottom of the unit. can you please let me know if you found a real fix? thx for your time
