Question about Lexmark Z640 InkJet Printer
The light on my Lexmark Z640 series printer keeps blinking. When the computer is turned on the printer makes a weird, deep whirring noise for about 30 seconds then the light flashes. I thought maybe it needed the ink cartridges replacing but the cartridges lodge at the extreme right of the printer making it impossible to see if there's anything wrong. Can I move them manually? The machine is about 6 months old and doesn't get used excessively. Possibly twice a week on average.
Open flap to access cartridges hold down power button untill cartridges move to centre remove and reinstall cartridges set them as new in the pop up box window and print a test page worked 4 me,i had a continuous flashing green light

Tips for a great answer:
Press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced

Toner light is ON, I would assume that the light is solid and not blinking. You can press and release to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. With the printer turned off, remove the toner cartridge and shake it to extend its life. Check the replacement toner cartridge if it is the one suitable for your region.
If the blinking light is on Toner Low, press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced.
