Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
You don't mention which model this is..so this is a generic solution
Best solution. If you can't get the CD tro eject by the paperclip method, or by trying to eject using the DVD drive icon in my computer try this:
Under the laptop, locate the screw that holds the DVD drive in place and gently ease the dvd drive out of the laptop body. (If you are unlucky, it may be locate under the keyboard, in which case, you will need to remove the keyboard).
Once out, at the sides of the DVD drive, there are 2 small plastic clips that need to be gently pushed inwards, this will release the front cover plate. Once this is removed, you should be able to get access to the drive and ease out the CD by pressing the contact that releases the tray
Check the operartion of the tray, if it is rough or notchy and does not go back smoothly,. you may need to replace the drive
