There should be under the grille cover located on the corners of the base facing the front and get your socket set out and when it would tilt frontleft to rightrear loosen the right front hexhead bolt (outward) or the opposite for the other rocking.

AC doesn't seem to be going on. Fuses are fine. Could it be low coolant level?

yes it could be a low refrigerant level. the compressor have a safety shuttoff, when the refrigerant level is to low they will not come on. try adding a can or two of refrigerant to the low side port normally the low side will have a blue cap on it or a L. if this is the problem you will see the compressor clutch engage and start spinning.

Need to replace my ZISB42DCA should I go with latest Monogram or a comparable Profile or switch to Kitchenaide. We have had a lot of problems with this one but it came with the house.

I have a 42" GE monogram refrig: ZISB420DMC. Water dispenser has had all kinds of problems and I've already had it fixed once. Same for ice dispenser. I just get ice directly out of the bin rather than have it dispense ice. This refrig also doesn't seem to have very much storage space. I can't even put a large pot in the refrig because of that silly light in the back of the refrigerator. I don't like GE refrigerators anymore. I've seen friends and family buy the Samsung refrigerators. They are really nice and I would get a Samsung. Here in Hawaii, Lowes seemed to have the best prices on the Samsung refrigerators.

GE Profile PSS26PSTA SS freezer problem

Forget the warranty - it is only for the compressor and that is usually five years. Did you check for freezer temp - wet cubes indicates too warm up there. Water dispenser lines may be clogged.

If low temps you may have low refrigerant or a defrost mechanism not working - if not working there should be ice buildup on line entering the evaporator in back of compartment.

My GE side by side seems to be struggling. the

If you were low on refrigerant you would not have a good temp. Sounds like the evaporator and or condenser fan is going bad.

I have a GE side by side GS25LGM. The fridge side gets too cold that it freezes the vegetables. There is a humidity control on the vegetable bin. It didn't matter if I set it to high or low it still...

try turning down the thermostat for the freezer side some times the controls seem backward. However most fridges are desighned for thwe freezer side with some thought giving to pushing some air to the refrige side. in most cases it easier to start back at medium settingsfor two or three days.

GE Monogram freezer side working but refrigerator side is not.

Did you clean the condenser?  Is the unit FULLY defrosted?   Defrost fully!!!!!!
Did he check the amount of gas in the unit?  If your unit has low gas...it is in need of more.  R12 is expensive.
Check gas level:  Shut unit for at least one hour.  View compressor.  Several pipes...we're looking at the largest.  Start the unit.  This pipe will begin to frost.  If it does not clear to dry, ice or wet...stays frosted...it is low.  Get the repair guy back ... but ask how much he'll charge first.

Leveling old refrigerator

The refrig does not have to be level, as a matter of fact, they tend to work (doors on most refrig's) if the front is a bit higher than the back. If you pop off the lower grill, you will see that the front rollers have a bolt that runs up through the lower frame. Turning on the end of that bolt with a 3/8 inch wrench will allow adjustment of an inch or so, up or down, depending on where it is at now. Only the front rollers are adjustable this way. Back rollers would have to be shimmed to adjust. Check the door hinges to see if the hinge and corresponding hinge cam riser (WR2X4901) are worn. (these parts raise the door slightly as it is opened, and help close the door as the door drops back down when closing.)
