If you tried to turn it on and it didn't, it likely won't work. But, it's possible it still will. Try removing the battery and letting the camera sit in a bag of rice for a day, that will remove any extra moisture. If it doesn't work after that, you'll probably have to get a new camera.

My Safelink Wireless phone got wet while I was out in a recent storm and hasn't worked since. What do you suggest I do?

Not a good thing to happen, you can try taking battery and covers off and leaving the phone in a warm dry place for a few days and hope that all the internal componts will dry and that they have not been damaged. Otherwise you will have to replace the phone.

Using Bluetooth Technology to Connect Laptop and Cell Phone

Many of you get your mobile phone wet by one way or another. You worry as you mistakenly drop your mobile phone in water. It can also get wet if you are out in a heavy rain. However, there is no need to panic. It is possible to save your wet mobile phone by quickly repairing it. In order to save your mobile phone from water damage, you can consider these easy and simple solutions:
Act rapidly :
The first thing you have to do in order to save your wet mobile phone is to act rapidly. Quickly remove all the detachable parts as well as covers possible such as the back cover, battery, the SIM card, memory card etc. Next, take a piece of cloth or a tissue paper to wipe the excess water you are able to notice within the mobile phone. Make sure that you dry it completely. If you don' t do this, the water inside the mobile phone will begin to evaporate and gather in places which will be difficult to reach.
This will save your wet mobile phone and it will start working if it was under water for just a little while.
Using a hairdryer :
Take a hairdryer and begin drying the mobile phone while giving more consideration to the place where the battery is located. The battery housing usually consists of tiny holes to let in air (so giving more space for water) inside the mobile phone.
Make sure that you are not holding the hairdryer very near to the mobile phone. Keeping it too close to the mobile phone may harm the electrical mechanism of the mobile phone. Keep on drying the mobile phone from a safe distance for about twenty to thirty minutes.
If solution number 1 and solution number 2 don't work, try solution number 3.
Drying for a long time:
Take off the covers as well as battery from the mobile phone. Put the phone in a dry as well as warm place to let the water inside the phone evaporate gradually from the little holes in the mobile phone.

Driver was left out in the rain, got wet and now won't work

If you tried it straight after, it may now be broken. The general treatment is to take out any battery, and place it in a warm dry place for a day or two to eliminate any moisture. The internals of any drill will not usually be damage if you do this.

The same is true to some extent of mobile phones, key remotes etc.

Please disregard last question! I was shooting pix in heavy rain and the camera got wet-even inside. I took it apart to dry, but now a freshly charged battery won't power it up. Is all hope lost for...

You can try burying it in a bowl of uncooked rice for a week. However, if you tried to start it up while water was inside the circuits, you may have fried them.

My Canon digital Rebel got wet in a rain storm yesterday. I took out the battery and let it dry out, but now it's not working. Any suggestions?

If you didn't take off the lens the interior shouldn't have gotten too wet. The best thing to do is take it asap to a camera repair center where the top cover and be removed and dried out. Otherwise send it to Canon and if they can't fix it you will most likely qualify for the Canon Customer Loyalty Program. A refurb XS will cost about $350 with a trade.

Handleiding

mcdevito75 here, I think you mean handleing, or takeing care of your Casio watch. First look on the back cover to see if it says shock proof or water proof, if it does you have a liitle lee way in handleing your watch, what I men is, you can wear your Casio even if you do heavy work and even in a moderate rain. However most Casio watches should not be worn if your out in a driveing rain or if you do extra heavy work, such as use a sledge hammer, or heavy tools, keep your casio dry, and once every other daye wipe it clean with a soft dry cloth, also do not rest your Casio on it"s crystal (Glass) when you take it off.

Malfunctioning after getting wet due to rain

Take the battery out of your phone and put your phone and the battery inside of a bag full of dry white rice. Seal the bag and leave it for 24-48 hours. After that time, take it out and see if the keys work like normal again. (White rice absorbs moisture quickly and will dry out your phone quickly)

Thanks for asking.

Jetta GLX 1998 (old body), when it rains heavy, car run rough

Sounds like you need new wires and or cap and rotor, had the same problem on my jetta 1.8L when I would drive it in heavy rain it would bog down and misfire. The water blows threw the rad right onto your distributor and wires causing the short (old and cracked or just defective). Try it out I'm sure that will fix it.
