Air compressor starts up and runs until 40-50 psi then trips the breaker. plugged into wall outlet 120. husky 26 gallon

Any idea of HP rating? It doesn't take much compressor to trip a regular 15A breaker.

If it is a portable unit, bring it close to an outlet that is close to your circuit breaker box and use no extensions or the shortest thickest extension that you have. If the problem is resolved, you need a higher amperage extension or a hard wired cord that is big enough.

My 1.7 26 gallon husky upright will not come on at all


Did you trip the reset button? It should be there someplace i a spot where you can't see it, just push it till it clicks, make sure the switch is on. Hope this helps.

Compressor shuts off at 60 psi will not come back on until opsi


If the pressure switch has been changed you will need to reset it if not ,then is the compressor trying to come back on but will not start untill it reaches 0 psi?

Unit trips breaker wont run . pulling high amps


when electrical all is ok, try if it wil run from zero psi. then you are sure that it dont have to start against a high pressure. if it runs then, check checkvalve and minimum pressurevalve.

HUSKY 26 Gallon Shuts Down After <75PSI!?


Possibly the pressure switch needs to be adjusted to reach a higher pressure. Trace the power cord into a box that also is piped into the pressure line from the compressor. If the pressure works itself back down again, use thread-locker fluid on the adjustment screw to hold it's setting.
