Hello,

Is this your actual motherboard:
8VM533M-RZ (GA-8VM533M-RZ)

Thanks, sometimes our category selector isn't all that thorough and this is what I see regarding your motherboard.

The actual version is in the center of your motherboard.

Hello, go to this link here and download or open the Manual for the above motherboard and if it loads in your browser click on File, Save a Copy and then save it to a folder in My Documents\Motherboard Manual\

You do want a copy on hand.

Meanwhile here is your connector legend. Pay attention to positive and negative. If the switch doesn't work, reverse the connector plug and it should work. DO NOT attach these pins with the power to your motherboard energized. Unplug the PC or run the back rocker switch to off. Once you see the board LED, if you have one, turn off you are safe to work with the cables.

Over to the left of this bank of pins is the Power Led connector. Below is the illustration.

Be certain to pay attention once again to positive and negative. Should you not see this lamp light up upon power up, shut down and reverse this order.

Is been my please to help you get this problem fixed. Don't forget to rate this solution accordingly.

Should you have any other quesions about your board don't hesitate to ask. But, if you have a new question, use the Ask Me button to start a new thread and I'll receive a notice of your request.

    Regards,
    Worldvet

The Picture below shows you the locations of the places to put those wires are in relation to your motherboard. In yellow is the power switch and such. and the audio connection is in red.

The Pin layout for the power and other connector are as follows:
avatar23454_10.jpg

the layout for the audio header is as follows: avatar23454_8.jpg

To install the cable that connects a front panel audio solution to the front panel audio header, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the computer. Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC power cord.
  2. Locate the front panel audio header (J8A1).
  3. Remove the three jumpers from the header (this disables the back panel audio connectors).
  4. Install a correctly keyed and shielded front panel audio cable.
  5. Connect the audio cable to the front panel audio solution.

To restore back panel operations follow these steps:
1. Remove the front panel audio cable. 2. Install a jumper on pins 5-6 (rear R channel). 3. Install a jumper on pins 9-10 (rear L channel). 4. Install a jumper on pins 1-2 (mic). 5. Replace the cover.

Dear sir...greetings... i have a ibm fw82801db motherboard which is working fine... the main problem what i am facing is i have a 20 pin front panel jack like FDD jack as unable to connect my front...

Because of the many configuration of motherboard, I can possibly know how to help you with this problem without the keyboard in front of me. The best advice to you is to go back to the manual to find the proper connection of those jumpers.

Unable to connect HDD LED, Power LED, RESET SW and power SW jumpers to motherboard in correct position. Unable to find a manual for layout. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you look closely on the motherboard, and not necessarily near the jacks or pins, you will find a wiring table that corresponds to the pin configurations.

Please I need a picture or pictures of how you connect the cables from the cabinet in this motherboard GA-G31M-ES2L. the office that I'm trying to enjoy the positive it has entered a msg on the board and...

> HDD LED == hard-disk drive Light Emitting Diode (a "lamp" that lights-up when you are reading/writing files to/from your disk-drive)

> RST SW == the (optional) "reset" switch/button on the face-plate

> SPK == the internal PC loudspeaker

> PW SW == the power on/off switch/button on the face-plate

First, connect the "PWR SW", so that the ON/OFF button works.
It's much less important that the other wires be connected.
For example, if you never press the RESET button on the face-plate, you don't need to connect that button to the motherboard.

Hi . I have foxcon 760gxk8mc-rsh motherboard and i disconnect all wires.I connected most of it and only don't know where I should connect power sw and reset sw( in which pin)

If you do not have you're manual for the motherboard open the link provided below and download it; http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx?models=en-us0000190&category=C000000001&series=en-us0000003&keywords=&sort=Motherboard
You will also need to download and install Adobe reader in order to view the manual. Download Adobe form the link; http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
Open to page 4. This is motherboard layout.
Turn to page 13. Here you'll see how to connect the front panel, [FP1] jumpers. The wire colors define which wire is positive and which wire is negative. Each set will have a common color. This common color will be used as negative.

Tyan le s2510 reconnection to case panel

If you go to Tyan ftp site ftp://ftp.tyan.com/manuals you should have no problem finding the .pdf version of your manual with all jumper and connection settings. I would do so quickly, as the company is making changes to the website. Also, if you look very closely the front panel connections are usually printed on the board but can be difficult to read.

Some wiring can be confusing such as with the board we were using. As you can see the wires mainly connect from left to right but the hard drive LED and the Key Lock wires connect from top to bottom but still show where the (-) connection is. This is where you need to pay close attention to where things actually connect to the motherboard as many boards have similar configurations.
