Sounds like the fans on your computer may be clogged. I would suggest getting a can of compressed air from a electronics or department store to blow the dust out of any ventilation slots. Proper ventilation of your machine depends on your fans spinning and your slots being clear. If this is full-size machine, I would suggest opening up the case, if you know how to, and directing some air at the processor fan to clean out any dust that may have accumulated there as well.

Hi i have isuzu npr 2010 and have overheat problem if motor work slow not have problem but during the presser working have overheat problem if stop and motor work slow become normal

If I'm understanding u right, u overheat when the AC is not on?! If so, it sounds like the electrical fan for the AC is working & the electric, radiator cooling fan is not operating. This may be caused by a bad fan switch, coolant sensor fan relay, electrical short to the fan or it may be a simple fuse. Good Luck

Tip

Cars Overheating

If your car becomes overheated....This can apply to most vehicles....and you discover the belt is broken....Turn the cabin heater to fully hot and the fan to full speed with the windows open....Drive having selected the highest gear at a moderate speed and keep an eye on the gage....Don't let the gage go beyond three quarters on the hot side.If it goes beyond, stop and let it cool....It should get you to a place or close to a place, where you can get help.......Works best on vehicles with large capacity cooling systems....

Will the bad waterpump on a 2003 pontiac aztek cause the temperature to overheat sometimes but run good others?

the water pump is working
the problem indicates blocked radiator cores preventing full flow at high rpm
have it flow tested by an accredited radiator shop or just fit a new radiator

What would cause my aspire 5630 to shut down sporadically?

Shut down sporadically, caused by rising temperatures on the processor (processor overheat). Processor overheat, caused by damage to the processor fan. Processor fan function to reduce the processor temperature.

Possibilities and solutions
1. The possibility of sluggish processor fan. Processor fan spins, with a low speed, so it can not reduce the processor temperature.
Solution: clean the processor fan with a vacuum cleaner, or replace the processor fan.
2. The possibility of fan processor die.
Solution: replace the processor fan.

The characteristics of damage to the processor fan
After the laptop is turned off (more than 1 hour), the laptop can turn on and survive + - 30 minutes. In the period of + - 30 minutes, the laptop died suddenly, because the processor temperature exceeds safe limits (shut down temperature).

How to check
Laptop is turned off (more than 1 hour), then turn on. Download and install software to check the processor temperature. Ex. Real Temp 3.60. See the change in temperature. If the temperature continues to rise, it can certainly cause damage to the processor fan.
- Normal temperature, when first turned on + - 38oC
- Normal temperature, after turn on for hours 40oC - 45oC
- Temperature overheat processor, when first turned on 60oC - 65oC

My hard is not detecting in my pc and produce some noise and after some time it goes hot.

scan your system for virus infection and check your processor fan speed through bios. processor temp. can abnormaly go high due to change in processor fan speed due to virus infection.

661fx-m7, It is running ok for 6-10 minutes then pc shuts down with no warning. this can be when it is active or just sitting idle. any ideas please?

This is generally an indication of a processor error. It may be running too hot and stops working when it overheats.

A FRIEND TELL ME I NEED A NEW CLUCH THAT GOES ON THE FAN I REMOVED THE OLD ONE AND LOOK AT IT. WHAT DOES IT DO!

It fans! Kidding. Ok, that psrt in the middle is the clutch. It is a viscous/fluid that expands as it gets hot. In doing do it forces the fan blades to keep up eith the shaft it is attached to. Of course it then pulls more air through the radiator for cooling. At higher speeds, above 35 miles per hour the fan becomes in effective due to vehicle speed forcing air through the radiator. The fluid in the fan hub cools and the fan is left to freewheel in turn taking away the fans parasitical load. That's what it does. If you are overheating, The fan is only to blame at low speeds. If you overheat over 35, Chances are real good your thermostat is acting up. Good Luck and quit spinning the fan! :)

Turns itself off & gets hot -don't think fan is kicking on

Since you do not hear the fan anymore I would start by opening up the case and seeing if power is going to the fan and make sure any connectors for it have not come loose. If the connectors are still hooked up chances are the fan is shot and needs to be replaced.

If you are not familiar with working around electronics and parts under power I would highly suggest you have some one who is familiar with this do it.

Ps3 no display no sound

if the ps3 shuts down on its own it is due to overheating. It is necessary to disassemble the unit and apply AS5 compound and shim the heatsinks to ensure proper contact between the heat sink and the processors. I can do this for $55 or you can send to SONY if under warranty. If not under warranty they will fix for 150+tax call 1800345SONY

Hi,
The Laptop Shuts Down, Due the Processor Reaching It,s Heat Limitations, as set by the Bios/Motherboard Et,c. This Is A Safety function to Avoid Any Further Damage To The CPU Or Other internal Hardware. If the CPU Fan is not functioning, this is likely the cause. To Remedy this Problem, you,d look at removing the faulty fan ( Replace With New ) Or fully functioning Fan. And replacing the thermal Patch Or Paste, Between The CPU ( Processor ) And Heatsink Or Mating surface Between CPU/FAN.
I,d suggest not using the Laptop, until this has been repaired, as you will only cause more damage, which in turn. will become unrepairable. or very costly.
