Lec fridge-freezer TF5089 faulty door light switch - how do I remove the switch from the fridge to check it?

Prying it out is the only way I know of. When you get it partially out you may be able to get hold of it with waterpump pliers or regular slip-joint pliers adjusted for a wide grip, and pull it the rest of the way out. They are made to be removed this way, so it shouldn't be damaged. If you push in the button and the light remains lit your refrigerator section may not be getting cold, because a bad door switch can send out a signal that the refrigerator door is open, in which case the freezer may not be blowing cold air into the refrigerator section. The door switches are fairly cheap online, especially compared to a service charge.

Our arctic air freezer blinks "csd" alarm code.

Can you look to see if the fan below your refrigerator is blowing a strong steady flow of warm air. Sounds like you either have a fan problem or an obstruction blocking air flow to the condenser. This will cause the refrigerator to stop cooling. What is the model number? Thanks Sea Breeze

Replacing door interior light switch of under counter LEC fridge

If it's the rectangulat one, it prises out of the hole with a flat screwdriver. Make sure it's unplugged before working on it. Do you suspect a faulty switch?

Phantom 3 wheel scooter back-up alarm

Easy fix; pull the floor board off by removing the 2 phillips screws. There is a round, black piezo with 2 wires connecting it; a red wire, and a black wire. Cut either of the wires, and then tape both ends of the cut wire to prevent it from grounding out on something. No more annoying noise. To hook it back up, shave the wire's insulation back and connect the wires again, but I don't know why anyone would want that installed again; I guess so someone doesn't back over a dump truck in the scooter ;).

I think the funniest thing (April Fools Day Prank) to do with that damn alarm would be to hook it up to a toilet seat lid, but in a way that the alarm only goes off when the seat is lowered, so if someone had to take a dump, they'd have to listen to the alarm...this might keep employees from taking 30 min bathroom breaks ;)

Build up of ice in lec upright freezer

If it's not a self defrosting model, you just have to unplug it, and use a hairdryer to speed up the melting process. Get the sponges and buckets ready! If it is a frost free model that isn't defrosting, it would probably cost too much to fix. countrycurt0
