Ac unit is not cooling, the part on the inside keeps freezing up after it is frozen the air blowing is not cool. Sometimes there is a knocking sound from the compressor.

Freezing of the evaporator is caused by low air flow (fan problem or dirty filter),low refrigerant charge or leak. I would suspect a leak (noisy compressor) because the compressor lubricants are in the refrigerant.

The refridgerator is not cooloing and the freezer is beginning to frost up

This sound if the blower motor in the freezer section is not working, everything freezes and the bottom does not cool, you will need to remove the cover in the back of the freezer and if the fan is not working it will need to be replaced

Refrigerators is not blowing cool enough air to freeze or cool each side respectively.

I assume the compressor is running since you indicate you have some cool air.

Check to make sure the compressor fan is running. This fan should be near the compressor. Its purpose is to pull room air across the coils and remove the heat from them. If this fan does not operate properly, the refrigerant will not be cycled properly. If the fan is not turning, you will need to replace the fan motor.

Not freezing or cooling

The clicking is probably the starter/overload relay which starts the compressor. If the relay is good then the compressor is bad. Check your compressor relay- http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/refrigerator/check/compressorrelay.php

Not cooloing

Hi,

I would request you to re-check to see if both fans are running, the condenser fan by the compressor and the evap fan in the freezer. Next, empty the freezer and remove the evap cover. look at the evap coils. Are they completly frosted up -- if so, you have a defrost problem - this will cause the condition you describe- IF they are not frosted, are only a few of the passes of coil frosted and some just wet with no frost? Then that means you need some freon. The fact that you have some cooling means that the compressor is probabaly OK.

Hope these would help you to fix the issue.

God Bless.

Freezer not freezing and fridge not cooling

Check the back wall of the freezer for ice buildup.
If yes, a defrost parts problem.
Check the freezer fan. Is it running?
If no, replace the freezer fan.
Check the condenser fan at the compressor. Is it running?
If no, is compressor hot?
If compressor is hot replace condenser fan motor.
If compressor is not hot.
Replace the compressor start relay.

suspect fan is not working - can you hear fan?
if not, chances are fan is jammed with ice build up. take back panel off inside freezer and if there is ice build up, melt off with a hairdryer. also check for continuity thro fan and make sure it rotates freely
