Question about GE Profile 25.6 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless-Steel
The frost free function is not working consistently causing the coils to coat with ice. The usual cause is a failure of the thermostat for the coils or the heating elements or the timer which is often mounted on the front rail at the toe kick area. Unless you are handy at electrical and have access to appliance parts this is probably not DIY... cost is often $250 which is far less than new refrigerator. Also check if your warranty might be valid or any maintenance contract.
