My geberit model number 131.028 dual flush won't shut off with water and leaks into the toilet bowl

How old? Who installed? Any warranty? I'd follow that route first.
If not warranty I'd try to get the installer to be interested. Perhaps he will have a "red face" an help out.

I have a Kenmore 90 series washer that overflows. What is happening is that during the initial fill, it shuts off. However, part way through the agitation cycle, it adds more water and would overflow...

In the old days before electronics took over a small bore tube connected the washtub to a pressure switch. As the water level rose a pressure would be created in the washtub and at a predetermined level the pressure switch would cut off the water supply. A blocked tube or a broken pressure switch (or a leaky washtub) would cause flooding. A leaky washtub would prevent the required pressure build up.

I haven't been inside a modern machine so I don't know the arrangement but I expect it is similar - apart from the switching, which will be performed by the computer, digitally of course...

Water will not turn off

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Water Inlet Valve If the washer is overflowing and power is shut off to the washer, the water inlet valve has failed. Replace it.
Pressure Switch If the washer is overflowing the pressure switch might be defective. The pressure switch is attached to a small tube which is attached to the outer wash tub. As the water level rises the air pressure in the tube increases, once the set water level is reached the pressure switch turns off power to the water inlet valve. Check to be sure the air tube to the pressure switch is clear before replacing the switch.

Low Water Pressure from House Supply If the washer is overflowing the water pressure to the water inlet valve might be too low. The water inlet valve requires a minimum of 20 psi to shut off properly. If the pressure is lower, the valve may not close fully when the power is shut off. This results in the valve leaking water into the washer and causing it to overflow.

70 series kenmore water overflows water

Try shutting off the timer if that won't shut it off then you have to shut it off at the supply valves on the wall and the water fill valve will need to be replaced. If the timer will shut it off then further trouble shooting will be required. I hope this helps.

Have a GE washer model WWSR3090TAWW, S/N DT106239G. The washer overflowed, and repaced the water level switch. It tested okay. Later when a load was done, it did the same thing. I have checked...

Here's the acid test: If the water is overflowing, turn off power (timer off, unplug machine, or switch off breaker) and if water stops flowing, you have a bad water level switch or obstructed water level tube leading to the level switch. If the water continues to flow in when power is off, and the only way to stop it is to shut off the water supply valves, then replace the water inlet valve of the washer, which for your machine is part number WH13X10024 and generally goes for about $50.

Whirlpool Gold dishwasher water overflowing and will not shut off

There should be a dome shaped float switch on the inside bottom of the washer. Make sure it is free to move up and down, or is able to float (possibly cracked or broken).

Amana lw8203w leaking

Your LW8203W is at least 12 years old. It is leaking from the tub seal, Your machine needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

If you have it rebuilt I would also put in a new belt, pump, brake pads, upper tub bearing and the tub seal it needs.

Call and authorized Speed Queen or Amana dealership and ask for a price quote over the phone. Then price out a new machine.

Your choice.

Ice maker over flows with water

There is an orifice that controls the water flow to the ice maker . If to much water is being fed to the ice maker it will result in an overflow. You may want to check the pressure of the water system in your house.

If the overflow is being caused by a continuous feed to the ice maker your electric valve supplying the water may not be reseating after it shut off electrically. If this is your problem obtain a new valve assembly to replace it.

Water overflow

Are you on a well? Often people with a lot of sediment in water get sick of the screens in water valve plugging up so they remove them. NEVER remove these screens. If any sediment gets into valve it can hold it open causing flooding. If you unplug unit and water still comes in you must replace valve.
