There is normally a cap on top that needs to be popped of to gain access to the screw. Look closely to be sure before prying it off, it could have threads.

Bosch refrigerator door handle is loose

there is only one screw on the handles from what i found out from fixing my loose handle. the bottom of the door handle has one screw. once you loosen that one up then you lift it and it comes out at the top enough to slide the handle out and tighten it.

HELLO THE FAUCET DRIPS AT THE HANDLE AND THE HOT AND COLD SEEM REVERSED

On this valve the hot/cold in reverse is easy enough to fix, but the faucet dripping at the handle is another issue. To reverse the hot and cold, turn off the house water, relieve the pressure by opening a nearby faucet. Once the water stops, remove the handle and faucet cover so you can see the valve. then the four screws that are visible need to be removed. Mark one of the screw holes with a crayon or pencil and then remove by pulling straight out. Once out, inspect the main o-ring right behind where it sits against the valve, (if this is damaged, it might be why the handle area is leaking) then turn the whole assembly clockwise 180 degrees then insert straight back in and insert screws. Tighten screws until snug. Turn water back on before installing cover and handle to check for leaks. If no leaks are found, install cover and handle and check for proper position of hot and cold. If there are leaks, tighten screws in clockwise rotation tightening each screw a quarter turn, then moving to the next one until dripping stops. If dripping is from center of stem, where the handle attaches, you will need to contact Price Pfister to request a replacement. They are very good to work with. Good luck.

to tighten handle, you hold lever(top of handle) while unscrewing round piece below, entire assembly should come off.look down and should be screw down there, tighten it up. flow problem could be the areator, unscrew and clean if need'd. check supply tube's,shut off valve's, (if you have them)make sure they are wide open.

Handle has come loose, just spins.

Most likely the screw in the center of the handle has become loose and just needs to be tightened. Pop off the cover with a screwdriver. and tighten the screw.

The handles for my bathroom faucet are loose inside. They wobble inside the mechanism. I have unscrewed the handle itself but I don't see how I can remove the mechanism the handle screws in. I believe if I...

Hi, There should be an easier way here. With the handle off, look down along the valve stem to where it goes on into the valve body. You should see a six-sided nut surrounding the valve stem. This nut is the packing gland. It allows the valve to function without leaking. You should be able to tighten the packing gland and take the wobble out of the valves. It's a trade off though, the tighter tha packing gland, the less the valve wobbles, but the valve will get harder to operate. You'll have to make your own judgement call as to how tight you want it.

I'm not sure if I am setting the collet properly- Some step-by-step instruction needed.

I just looked at an owners manual at Dremel.com (64 pages) and under tightening the collet they state to finger tighten and then use wrench making sure to not overtighten. All you really need to do is snug the wrench up enough to hold the accessory. after tightening or loosening release the lock button and I always turn mine by hand making sure not to hit switch or remove battery (suggested for removal/installation) to ensure the release isn't catching. You can look at the manual and other information by going to their site. They also have a toll free number to talk with a tech for help. If I have helped you would you please rate this response accordingly. Thank you

Loose handle on door

The door handles mount on hex bolts sticking out of the door, the door handles have key hole inserts that match with the bolts. The door handles are then slid in one direction to lock the handles in place. Removal is the reverse. To tighten the door handle screw the bolt out enough that you can still put the handle over the bolt heads and slide the handle to lock the handle in place.

I cant get the roter off my 2002 acura rear driver side because the screws holding them on are so tight i cant unscrew them.can u help me

The easiest way to do this is have really good tools...Craftsmen, Snap-on, whatever.

The whole idea about removing stuck bolts is leverage. What I mean is, the wrench you are trying to take it off with is not long enough. One to remove or break loose the bolt is by simple attaching a longer handle to your ratchet or whatever you are doing. You do not need a lot of room to make a huge turn or rotation.

Take a breaker bar or ratchet. Have your socket attached. Next, take a crescent wrench or monkey wrench and attach it to that handle of the breaker bar or ratchet handle....no welding or anything....just tighten up the jaws onto the handle....make sure you have the jaws on the handle straight. A little effort on this extended hadle is all you need......GUARANTEED....and this info was FREE>
