I have a samsung R519 with intergrated webcam, looked on loads and loads of sites, looked on all the windows programmes on laptop and still cant find anything that will tell me how i can use it!! i want to be able to 'see and speak to family and friends via the webcam' but havent a clue how to operate it, many thanks or any help offered Lavinia

Look for the sofware on the desktop. If not on the desktop check the program list. Click Start/Programs then look for any reference to the webcam. You can also look in the Samsung folders in the program list. It might be hidden in something like Total Entertainment. Sometimes there is a button you can press to launch the total entertainment. If so when it is pressed look for the camera icon.

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.

Try installing the latest WEBcam driver.

It depends on the browser and the network ..
assuming all its ok ..than the internet connection may be faulty ..check to have all drivers for the device you use to connect .The LAN driver for cable connection and the wireless driver .The drivers should be on the cd that came with the laptop ..or download them from the manufacturer's support site ..

You also have them here ..select the last ones for windows 7 and install them again (the LAN and wireless drivers)
after that be sure you make the connections right ..if you have a static Ip you need to insert them and for that contact your ISP .

Possible that the drivers are not installed on the PC when it was first installed with the Operating system. So please log on to the official web site and install the drivers, run and see if the web cam is detected.
If not there is fault in the hardware and if the PC is within the warranty period you must lodge a complaint.

This is most likely because your motherboard's driver is not installed. Head on to this site :
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/NP-R519
Click on "driver" and then download the file which says "Chipset". Make sure you download the one which matches your version of windows. Run it and restart your laptop. Your USB should work after that.

just use yahoo or live messanger or skype to show it works ok. also "splitcam" is a free software. google that.

system restore can do this for you if windows does work
if not recovery disc are sold on line through ebay and other web sites

you have to go on Samsung Site in that site you will find option support and Download from that just you type u r laptop model no you will get touchped driver just download in your othere dive from ther rum in to windows u will able to use your touchpad hope fully
