Question about Canon CanoScan 4200F Flatbed Scanner
I have many years of repairing Canon scanners and here is my suggestion to you.
First disconnect the cable that goes from your scanner to your computer. Next google Canon CanoScan 4200f Drivers just as I have written it to you. A page will come up look for Canon's official website and download the drivers from them. The drivers are free from Canon. Once the download is complete and you have installed the drivers on your computer. Power your scanner back on and connect the cable from your scanner to your computer. a window should pop up saying a new device or drivers are being installed. Once this completes I would reboot (restart) your computer and you should be ready to scan now.
I hope this helps you out.
