Dear sir i have the muratec MFX2010 all thinks is working but i did not find the TWAIN box software form start.
If your machine is connected through network cable, then you can scan to folder without needing any software called smb scan, but if your machine is connected through usb cable then you can only use twain software in order to scan. let me know how it is connected so i could help you fixing this issue.
I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/mustafa_06f84c65ab5cc745
Unless your machine is connected via ethernet cable.( NOT USB.!!) you will not be able to scan directly to a Network folder.
Anotherwords..you can scan to a Network folder if its an RJ45 cable but NOT if your using USB.
If you are using ethernet the machine should have come with the appropriate software...if you have lost it you can get it at www.muratec.com .
**If you are using USB...installing the Network software will NOT make it scan to folder.
Dear abp20,
Thank you for your fast reply. Yes my machine is connected via a Ehternet (RJ45) wire to my whole network. I can see the plug for the USB but never used it due to the fact that says on the side please install drivers first before using USB.
Well I have the CD which came along with the machine but on that CD as far as i can remeber there wasn't any software for scanning to folder there was only the drivers, for local printing, network printing, network scaning to scan box e.t.c. and all for the XP i am currently using Win7.
On the page you provided me above which one of the downloads is the software for scanning to a network folder ??
Thanking you once again for your patience and time.
Kind Regards,
Constantinos Philippides.
Download the Officebridge driver cd for the 1350/1950. On Muratecs site it says it is Win7 compatible. ** I am still hoping that your machine has all the necessary hardware installed..( which you will not be able to see.) I am refering to the OB400 which is required for all this to work. If you are unsure you can call Muratec tech support at 1-800-359-7035.
