Is it possible to get caller ID for an incoming call if I have that number saved as a speed dial? If so, how do I get that. My phone is the Avaya IP Office 5410. Thanks

If the number matches the CID number, you should get the name as well. But here is the hard part.
IF your system requires you to dial an access code (say 9 to get an outside line) you may have that speed dial number saved as:
913125551212

If so, the incoming caller ID would have to match exactly, meaning CID would need to show 913125551212 in order for this to work.

BUT, caller id probably only shows 13125551212, and as such, wont work.

5610 sw phone displaying Adddress Conflict * to program

Reboot the phone to grab a new DHCP address. If it still does that, then something else has that IP, and the phone has a static as well, so teh phones IP will need to change.

AVAYA 5410- want to turn Caller- id off

Do you have access to Manager? You can tag the incoming call which does not show the caller ID of a call until the call is answered.

Dial tone, can be called, hear caller, but caller cann't hear me.

The problem is likely either a conflict in compression or a speech path problem.

In Manager, is "Allow Direct Media Path" checked?
If so uncheck and reboot eh phone system, then reboot the remote phone.

How to i program extension not to ring

Ring when? When incoming calls com in to the main number? You would have to get into programming and remove yourself from that group.

If you dont want your phone to ring ever, program a DND button on the phone.

How do I program a new extension into an Avaya 5610 phone?

First we would need to know the model of the phone system. That phone will work on a few Avaya systems.
