Heh. None of us are as young as we used to be...
It's hard to say exactly what kind of trouble you're in, primarily because Microsoft is a harsh master when it comes to their discs and licenses. The good news here though is you're a legal customer and the service folk at Microsoft like that. I've had very good and very fast responses from them lately and perhaps you might sweet talk them into sending you another disc. That would allow you to potentially reinstall the application. On the other hand if you're talking with Microsoft they might be able to fix that install-prompt issue for you themselves. If anyone would know how, it'd be them.
Things you can do yourself? Clean up your file system. That alone might help resolve the problem. I'd start with an 'adware' scan with Adaware (get it at Lavasoft.com). Download it and run it. It will find and remove the vast majority of evil applications that you never consented to, and some you might have, that build up over years of internet usage. These things can take a couple steps to unravel. Start there, maybe make that call, see where you stand.
Best of luck, William

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What is the default password for cisco

There are two main methods to return a Cisco router to its original factory defaults. These two methods are described below.
Method 1
1. uses the config-register 0x2102 command in global configuration mode.
2. Check the configuration register on the router by issuing the show version command.
3. The configuration register setting is displayed in the last line of the show version command output and should be set to 0x2102. If this is not the case, enter the config-register 0x2102 command once in global configuration mode.
router#configure terminal
router(config)#config-register 0x2102
router(config)#end
router#
4. If the show version command is issued again, the same line in the command output will have '(will be 0x2102 at next reload)' appended to the current register setting.
5. Erase the current start-up configuration on the router with the write erase command.
Reload the router with the reload command. When prompted to save the configuration, DO NOT save.
router#reload
System configuration has been modified. Save? [yes/no]: n
Proceed with reload? [confirm]
Once the router reloads, the System Configuration Dialog appears.
--- System Configuration Dialog ---
Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]:
The router is now reset to the original factory defaults.
Method 2
1. uses the config-register 0x2142 command in global configuration mode.
2. Enter the config-register 0x2142 command in global configuration mode.
router(config)#config-register 0x2142
This causes the router to ignore the start-up configuration on the next reload. If a show version is issued, the last line in the command output will have '(will be 0x2142 at next reload)' appended to the current configuration register setting.
3. Reload the router using the reload command in enable mode. It is not necessary to save when prompted to save the system configuration.
router#reload
System configuration has been modified. Save? [yes/no]: n
Proceed with reload? [confirm]
After the router has reloaded, the System Configuration Dialog appears.
4. Enter no to the question "Would you like to enter initial configuration dialog?"
5. Change the configuration register setting to 0x2102 by entering the config-register 0x2102 command once in global configuration mode.
6. Issue the write memory command in enable mode to overwrite the existing start-up configuration with the current running configuration.
7. Reload the router with the reload command in enable mode.
Once the router reloads, the System configuration Dialog appears.
--- System Configuration Dialog ---
Would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog? [yes/no]:
The router is now reset to the original factory defaults.
Note: The configurations below are stored in ROMMON, and cannot be reset to Factory Default Settings by the write erase or config-register 0x2142 commands.

If you registered with Microsoft you can contact their support and get assistance with this. If you didn't then you are going to have trouble getting a code.

Have office 2007 installed on computer have lost box and disc but am being promted for product key now and cant find it

if you have registered with Microsoft, you can call them and they will look you up and provide you with a key. You can change the key on the fly using msoobe.exe /a at the run command. If you select change product key, it will give me a cal number based on where u are from. I am not sure how you will verify with them that you purchased this if you did not register

Good luck!

Computer is on when plugged in and will not turn off with the power switch. computer will boot up to sign in window but freezes with instructions to register windows but keyboard and mouse do not work at...

First of all you have a couple of issues..

The power button on those old systems don't allow for shutoff by power button when there is an issue, odd i know but I just had one in this week...

As for registering it sounds as if the system just went through a reinstall atleast more then 30 days ago.

Try starting the system with the disc in the drive, when the system starts up try clicking ESC button or F12.

that should allow you the chance to click start from disc and restart all over again.

Fujitsu Lifebook N6210

Found my own solution, though it cost me a bit. A kernal program was corrupted and interfering the computer's ability to recognize key presses. I ran the Recovery disc and reloaded XP. It solved the problem, but I lost my C: drive data. Most of it I had backed up before, so a moderate inconvenience.

Now, if anyone has a good idea about how to recover my lost data, that would be nice.
