How many watts per channel it show 150w on the back

    what product? If it's total power consumption by the unit that is NOT watts per channel but it does Wmply a maximum because you can't have more power out than goes in, plus power is lost to heat and stuff.

There could be several answers to this question depending on where the figure 150w appears and what other information is with it.
If the figure is next to something like AC100v or 220v then this is the mains power consumption rating - there is no direct correlation to output power because it will depend on the other components in the system and how they are configured.
If it is on the output stage of the amplifier (where the loudspeakers connect) then it could be a either the total of all the channels added together or a per channel rating. If it is an output power it will normally also have the word "at" followed by another number and the symbol ω (or the word ohms). The actual output achieved will vary depending on the resistance of the loudspeakers (for example an amp rated at 150watts at 8 ohms would only be able to push about 75 watts into 16 ohms but 300 watts into 4 ohms)
Further the rated power could be quoted either in Peak output (also known as peak music power or pmp) or, alternatively it may have the letters RMS (Root Mean Square) which roughly equates to 300watts Peak.
Cheaper units tend to quote Peak outputs because it makes them look more powerful than they really are. RMS is generally the power output rating used by high quality equipment and professional musicians because it gives a better indication of general usable power.

I have a audition 150 watts x 2ch bridgeable high power amp serial # 00400274 need size of inline fuse. does not show size of fuse on diagram


hi.

if it is 150 watts TOTAL power then you should use a 15 amp fuse.
(150w / 12v = 12.5amps, 15amp fuse should provide the correct protection.)

if the system is 150 watts PER CHANNEL. then it will be 300 watts total and a 30 amp fuse should be used.
(300w / 12v = 25 amps. 30amp fuse should be used.)

30 amp is normally the highest fuse recommended for an car audio system, so i would not use higher than this without taking the unit to a qualified auto electrician, to get the system checked for safety. if you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

What is the total WATT output on the Sony MHC-G101 mini hi-fi 3 CD changer, dual cassette home component system? I misplaced the owner's manual, and I want to know how much power it has. // Tks


According to page 24 of the manual, it delivers 11 Watts RMS (route mean squared) per channel into 8 ohm speakers.

Elsewhere in the manual, you'll see references to "15 watts per channel" and as much as "25 watts per channel". The 15 watt value is valid when putting up with some 10% THD (total harmonic distortion), this value is 11 times higher than the .9% THD value given for 11 watts per channel. You tolerate .9% THD now, but you wouldn't want to listen to anything with 10% THD. The 25 watts per channel is what they call "Music Power". Watts is an electrical term, "music power" is not. You could use it to compare other devices that only offer "music power" values, but the best indication of how it will perform is based on watts in RMS, into an 8 Ohm load (most speakers are 8 ohms). The lowest THD values are best.

POWER OUTPUT AND TOTAL HARMONIC
DISTORTION:
With 8 ohm loads, both channels driven, from
70 - 20,000 Hz; rated 11 watts per channel
minimum RMS power, with no more than

I need speakers for my Onkyo A-911M integrated amp


A+B speakers = 4 channels 2 right 2 left

100 watts/4 = 25 watts per channel

RMS watts / channel = 25 x .707 = 18 watts/channel which is your average consumer stereo system

I would use 8 or 16 ohm speakers (not 4 ohm) -- almost any set of stereo speakers will "work" -- these will be 8 ohm and about 5 watt minimum / 40 watt max thereabouts
