Question about Lexmark X1150 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Lexmark X1150 I can't get my printer to cancel the print job. I have two different ways and it indicates that it is deleting the job but it never does. This causes the printer to not print other jobs. I can't even uninstall the because it says that it won't delete until the printer deletes the job. Any help you could suggest would be greatly appreciated.

I can't get my printer to cancel the print job. It indicates that it is deleting the job but it never does. I can't even uninstall the because it says that it won't delete until the printer deletes the job. It was suggested that I switch off the printer, then delete. I have tried both on and off. Neither works. Help!

I have a Lexmark X3350 and about half of the time the printer won't print the job and when I try to cancel it says 'deleting job' forever and won't go away and I can't shut it down or print anything else. Sometimes restarting the computer works, but I end up restarting the computer 10 times just to print 2 pages.

Wont stop printing a canceled job

Pull the paper out, then try to delete the print job out of the printing que. You can also try restarting your Print Spooler service and also rebooting the printer and PC. Steps can be different depending on your OS and printer, but these are basic steps. If above soesn't work, post more details.

Not responding to print job

Connect what two. Computer and printer. Try reinstalling the printer. The cable could be defaulty and If reinstalling the printer does not work, I'll put my money on the cable being defaulty, happens all the time. Exchange it for a working cable. Let me know how it goes.

Deleting - Printed

I've also had this problem with an HP LaserJet 4650dtn printer. I've solved this by: - Stop the "Print Spooler" service. - Delete all the existing print spool files. (Stored in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS" by default). - Start the "Print Spooler" service. - Right-click the printer's icon in the Printers and Faxes folder and choose Properties. - Click the Advanced tab. - Click the Print Processor... button. - Make a note of the existing "Print processor" selection on the left (in case you need to revert it.). Then change it to "WinPrint". Click OK. - Click OK on the printer's properties window. - Try sending a print job to see whether it persists in the print queue.
