Using magick jack it will make calls but wont recieve


first of all using magic jack compared to a hardwired is complete nonsense, in an electrical storm if your building is hit it fries the magic jack gear, and you cannot dial 911, secondly, there is no battery back-up compared to dc fed phone lines!

The phone will only show the information that it is given by your phone service provider (Magic Jack).

That means the phone is locked in a carrier other than your SIM.

I had Motorazr2 v8 and facing the problem. It is not showing the network and displaying only 'Unregistred SIM. Plz help me.

problem can be solved.When you buy a new Sim card or a new phone from a different country, it show unregistered Sim.That means the Sim or the phone can work in your own country.

You will needs to contact the service provider of the phone or Sim card you are using to enable you use the Sim or phone in your country.

Calls cutting out with magic jack


Your ISP connection speed may be inadequate. Typically, the upload speed (outgoing voice) is much slower than the incoming speed. To check majicjack recommends that you test your system on http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ .
It's also possible that your internet provider is purposely delaying the outgoing latency in order to discourage VoIP that THEY don't provide. I think this is (or at least should be illegal) but in any case a complaint to the FCC might be in order.
