I can attest for the moster cables performance. They are a nice affordable cable that provides nice high end sound on newer equipment. They are very well made and the monster brand is a very repitable brand. This cable offers exceptional performance in a smaller speaker cable designed for audiophile music and home theatre systems. It recaptures the full dynamic range of today's music while maximizing the sonic reproduction capabilities of your speakers. The neutrality, clarity and delicate musical balance this cable makes it one of the finest cables available in its price range.
That being said. There really is not a big difference in many of these type cables. In fact I read where some scientist swapped out the monster cables for coat hangers and people who were reviewing the cables could not tell the difference. Maybe coat hangers make good speaker cables? I don't know, bu I do know that when deciding what you really need and what you want to hear when you read the reviews is a personal choice. I have used these cables and I have used others of a supposed lower quality and I can't tell the difference either. I do now they are a well made product and hold up over time. They are very well shielded so if you need a wire that is shielded then these are a good choice.
If your asking are they worth the price, well that;s up to the consumer. I personally by cables from E-bay and get what is available as long as they meet my specs, and I don't pay near the money Monster is asking for theirs. If it were me. I would look for another suitible cable of good quality that still provides the durabuilty of the monster cable. Most of the technical specs are for tekkies and most of us can't tell the difference, you would have to have expensive testing gear to realize any differences in most good quality cables. BEWARE of the really low end stuff because no one really knows where that stuff comes from.

Plasma -vs- LCD? Pros and Cons

If you're looking into a new TV purchase these days, you have only a few options… Plasma and LCD are major hitters. What follows is this professional’s opinion; you must ultimately do the research yourself.

Plasma TVs
Pros: Exceptional color reproduction. Our eyes have become accustom to viewing TVs with Phosphorus displays. As with TVs of old, Plasma TVs also use Phosphorus to create the beautiful colors our eyes crave. The viewing angle (side to side) and refresh rate (rate at which the image is refreshed) of a Plasma product shines above most other product types. Plasma TVs also have a glass protection screen in front of the panel which can help protect the panel from impact. Prices have fallen recently and have made the Plasma TV a very affordable purchase.

Cons: Energy usage. Using a Plasma TV has been likened to 'leaving the refrigerator door open'. Reliability and longevity are also a factor to consider. Over time, the Plasma panel becomes more sensitive; “Sparkles” or misfiring pixels are common. The Plasma uses many high power components; which, due to failure, have given it a less than reliable stigma. Image retention and image burn are quick to occur. Realistically, 5-7 years of life.

LCD TVs
Pros: Light weight and bright picture. Color reproduction has improved by leaps and bounds over the recent years. Some products available do rival the Plasma products in picture quality and reproduction. Cost cuts have also brought the LCD into the price range of many. Energy usage is typically less than that of the Plasma. Image retention is not a major concern for this product. Less parts than a Plasma = Less failure. LCD panel life is estimated to be about 10 years.

Cons: LCD panels use back-lighting systems. Because the 'color' of the light does not change, the color reproduction of the LCD product is not as natural to the eye as the Plasma product.

LCD-LED TVs
(Same as LCD TV, with the following exceptions)
Pros: LED back-lighting produces a more Plasma like color response.

Cons: Panel life is about 70% that of the standard LCD products.

What are the different types of home alarm systems?

There are two types of home alarm systems, the wireless home alarm system and the hard wired home alarm system. Wireless home alarm systems are the most common these days with many of them having a simple do it yourself installation. Hard wired home alarm systems are still around and still used, however. Wireless home alarm systems are much simpler to install and much easier to maintain. (www.prweb.com)

The 3 most popular fixes for the Xbox 360

These are free fixes I found on the internet and tried myself I have rated them as well with my recommendation:

The Towel Trick:

Pros
  • Fast and easy
  • Opening console is not required - does not void warranty
Cons
  • Might make things worse
  • Usually works for 2 weeks only
  • Not recommended to use repeatedly
Recommendation - Do it only if you are not technical and afraid to open the console, use warranty if still permitted.

The Heat Gun Solution:
Pros
  • If done right works for long (longer than the towel trick)
  • Simple to do
Cons
  • Opening console is required - Void Warranty
  • Might make things worse
  • Not recommended to use repeatedly
  • Usually works for a fews weeks only
Recommendation - Its involved voiding warranty and hard to make it a permanent solution, use only if you don't have a warranty.

The Eraser Trick:

Best solution here at Fixya:

The Eraser Trick

Pros

  • If done correctly works permanently
  • Very simple to do
  • Requires only a simple eraser
  • Can used repeatedly
Cons
  • Opening console is required - Void Warranty
  • Usually does not used right and not works permanently
  • Requires some technical knowledge
Recommendation - Read comments on the thread to know what to expect and do it only if you don't have your warranty.

Conclusion
- These fixes are great, but from my experience there is no stable fix for this problem since the Red Ring of Death will come back even if fixed by an expert. Therefore those fixes are good as any but also void the 3 years warranty. If you do have your warranty I recommend on using it.

Frigidaire Front Load Washer FAFW3574K - Is this a good washer, and how long should I expect it to last?

Hi,
There are many things that can facotr into the life of a washer.
How many loads a week do you do?
What are the size of the loads?
What is the quality of the water?

Under many circumstances you can reasonably expect your washer to last 8-10 years.
The factors mentioned above can change that higher or lower depending mostly on your useage..

Pros and Cons

Sansa e200 is increasingly not supported by the manufacturer, it may require you to manually switch between USB modes, and generally has a lot of problems. I can't think of any pros, actually.

The iPod has great support from the manufacturer and rarely has a problem that can't be solved. It is hard to use an iPod on Windows Media Player, but definitely not impossible. The probelm arises when you try to sync with Windows Media Player AND use iTunes.

I would definitely go with the iPod. Sansa sucks.
