Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
Turn off the laptop completely. take the battery out.
Open the back cover. it should be small. Its normally where the RAM resides. somewhere in there should also be a small battery. It looks just like those for a watch. Remove the battery, and close by there may or may not be a jumper. if there is, move the jumper from its original position and then move it back. Turn on the computer and make sure it goes through to windows, and shut it down again. Put back the small battery, and that should have reset your bios password.
