You need to buy a key what you had was only a trial. you can restart the trial by running the recover disks but you would lose every thing and return it to the way it was when you bought it but also restarting the trial

Sounds like you had a trial version. Youll have to purchase the full version to activate it. The cheapest way to do this is doing a google search for "microsoft office at a discount". Trust me it works. Good luck...

It is likely that the version of office that came pre installed was merely a 30 day free trial. In order to continue using it you will have to purchase a license key from Microsoft, or go to using another office suite such as OpenOffice.org if you don't want to spend the extra money. a license will cost about 150 dollars.
Openoffice.org is free, and is similar in functionality to Microsoft office, but isn't nearly as good in many areas. You need to weight the benefits of cost v. effort, if it ins't worth your time to learn a new office suite, then i would suggest buying the key. if you don't want to pay 150 dollars for a license, then learning to work with OpenOffice.org may be worth it to you.

hope that helps :)

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!
