Try someone else's keyboard. sounds like yours is either damaged from drink spilled on it, or the chip in it is shorting.

forgot to mention: if you look on your keyboard there is a button that calls up the context menu. it is to the right of the space bar.

  1. Right click the folder with the Padlock icon and click Properties.
  2. Click Security tab and click "Edit..." button.
  3. In the popped up box, click "Add..." button and type the name "Authenticated Users", without quotes and then click OK.
  4. Click OK and exit. I don't recommend this for System folders.

8 unknown multimeia controller devices after system recovery, no hardware changes were made.

Your best option is to go to the Sony web site and go to thier tech support option and put your model type in, Most PC suppliers have a option to download the right drivers for thier models. You May need to put your serial number in. Also the system recovery you did was not done with the recovery disk designed for that model as the correct disk has the correct drivers built into the disk for you system. You could buy the right build disk from sony aswell. There is a third option and that is to go to the web site and look at the spec for that model and this usually goes through the video and audio options and chip sets used on the unit.

>connect to the router using an Ethernet cable (looks like a phone cord but fatter, router configuration is not recommended via wireless connection)

>click start -> run then type in the box that pops up "cmd" without the quotes and hit OK

>black box (command prompt) on screen, type "ipconfig" again without the quotes.

>look for the Default Gateway address (that's the router) and type that exact address in Internet Explorer.
