First choice is to go to the manufacture website site of whatever hardware your looking for the driver of. If that doesn't work then Google it! or go straight to Microsoft. Tons of download sites with driver's to download. Be careful and check a couple different site's. Many want to sell you something or have a pop up to try and direct you to some thing else. Many manufactures bundle several years of product drivers into one down zip file. If its an older product and the company is out of business you can still find somewhere hosting it. But watch sites that claim to have everything but want you to install or scan your computer for free.... avoid those.
Well, it depends on what you need a driver for. in most cases windows is able to automatically detect and download drivers over an internet connection.
it would help to have a bit more information in regard to the issue :)
