Question about Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 Flatbed Scanner
I have many years experience repairing Canon scanners so here is my suggestion for you.
I would first disconnect the cable from the scanner to your laptop. Then I would google Canon Canoscan LiDE 25 drivers. Google should take you to the official Canon website and I suggest you download them directly from Canon. Once you complete the download with the latest drivers ( the drivers are all dated but the ones towards the top should be the newest ones), then install them on your laptop. Once this completes then with the power turned on, on your scanner then hook up the cable from the scanner to your laptop. A window should pop up telling you new drivers are being installed. Once this completes then reboot your laptop and you should be ready to scan now.
I hope this helps you out.
