Check to see if the fan mount bent somehow. The fan blade just might be jammed. If not see if the fan is getting power. The unit will not cool properly if the compressor and condenser are not being cooled down by that fan.
check to see if you have a the fan running in the freezer, if not replace fan. if fan is running do you frost on the back wall of freezer, if so defrost by opening door for 3 to 4 hrs. turn back on and if frost returns in 3 to 4 days call for service
is the freezer fan running? is there frost on the rear freezer wall if so it would be a defrost issue. if no frost on freezer rear panel it would sound like a bad compressor or sealedsystem leak.
You may have a bad condensor fan motor or paper may have gotten pulled under the fridge and jammed the fan blade. The energy switch will not help with cooling it only controls exterior moisture.
Hi......... Folow these steps. It's worth a try. 1.Pull
the fridge out from the wall and unplug it. 2. Clean the dust and lint off
the compresser and everything else. 3. Also clean under the fridge. 4. The
frame around the freezer door should cool down.
If the cooling fan was stuck , that may also be a cause for your refrigerator wall becoming hot.Check that too. Hope My info is useful....Bye
If you still have this problem I would like for you to check to see if the fan below the refrigerator is blowing. This fan is called the condenser fan and is located beside the compressor in bottom rear under the refrigerator. If it is not running It may have a piece of paper or mouse or something lodged in the blade or it may just have bad motor bearings. If you use an exterior fan to blow air under the refrigerator it will cool again till you can replace the bad condenser fan motor.
