Dell Inspiron WLAN (Wifi) Driver for Windows 7 32Bit are not available from Dell Official or Microsoft Update (online).
I came accross this issue today and solved it by searching 32Bit Drivers for the WLAN hardware and found the drivers. Below is the link from Intel Official Official Support.
Intel WiFi Link 1000BGN Drivers
Download/ Install the drivers/ and Enjoy wireless internet connectivity!
From adaptor properties - Advanced, select AUTO for 802.11n Channel Width to experience 300Mbps downlink Data Rate.!!!

I have just installed Vista Home on to my laptop and get a intel wifi 5100agn error message

Hi, I take it that you have upgradred from XP. This will cause problems as your machine is designed for XP. The best solution is to go to the dell site and download the latest driver, even if its the one for XP.

Wireless not working. the device manager not showing the wireless driver and not getting it at net......my model is c 773 tu.

Well it looks like HP left the Compaq user SOL. So looking at what they usally put in them its either an Intel or Broadcom WIFI adapater. So go to Intels support download site and download the autoscan tool. It will see its own hardware and show u a link to get the driver. If its the Broadcom driver look up Broadcom drivers on HP's website try them out 1 by 1 from models about your year of make. Here is a link I found for that laptops drivers. I waited the 20 seconds and it did produce a RAR folder to download the driver for the WIFI. Download at your own risk but it looks bug free.

Wireless connection problem

Reset the router back to factory defaults by using the end of paperclip to push a very small button on the back of it. You will have to reset the security if desired.

One click link for wifi driver for compaq V3000

the Compaq website is showing two possible wifi drivers..

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=228&product=1817059

If you go to the link above and go down to network and then choose either Intel Pro/Wireless drivers or Broadcom Wireless LAN driver. (I would probably try the Intel driver first).

Download them to your desktop and then double-click on them and follow the install instructions. If the first one doesn't work go back and try the other.
