If disconnecting power does not help then you will have to open the player and make the DVD tray roll out.

The motor for pulling the tray is probably shot. I have had it happen many times. I assume that this is a player with a tray by the sounds of your question. You can open the player and replace the motor with a new one. First test for power to the motor when you press the eject button. A electronics store can sell you the new motor and even test the current one for you. If you need anything else let me know

my best to you

My Toshiba remote control se-r0077 sometimes works to control the DVD player and other times it doesn't. I've tried new batteries and the problem still persist s

One of the best ways to check if an infra-red remote controller is working properly is to look at it using a camera. (a webcam or phone camera will work) The camera will see the infra red radiation as visible light. If the LED lights up (on camera) consistently when buttons are pressed, then it may not be the remote at fault, but rather the receiver in the DVD player. Most of the time though, it IS the remote control at fault, and these are usually easy to get working again.

Couple of things to check are:

1) the battery terminals...
Batteries can leak and corrode the terminals in the battery compartments. Signs of this include rust, green coloured contacts, or a crystalline deposit. If you see any of this then clean the contacts using metal cleaner or some methylated spirit and cue-tips.

2) Broken wires connecting battery terminals to the circuit board...
The soldering in some remotes can be rather poor, and wires can sometimes come loose, especially if a remote has been dropped or bashed about a bit. Unscrew the remote and check everything is connected properly

3) Dirt under the buttons...
This can prevent a button from making contact with the circuit board properly. Unscrew the controller and separate the rubber button pads from the circuit board check for dirt both underneath the pads AND on the metal contacts on the circuit board. Clean as required with methylated spirit and cue-tips and then reassemble.

Hope that helps!

I have a GPX TV/DVD combo Model # TDE2280B. I have only used it a few times -- now will not play a DVD even with a external DVD player connected to it -- "no signal" is the only message I get.

Have you tried resetting the set to factory default.

Zenith dvd5201 tray won't open. How do you remove case to release tray? I have unplugged and replugged and then held open/close for 5 seconds without success. I don't have local repair.

It sounds like the drive belt is slipping or a disc stuck.

My factory DVD player will except disc the ejects it

If I understand your rather cryptic post correctly...

This very well could be a Blue-Ray disk loaded into a
non-Blue-Ray capable DVD player. Your car player's capabilities MUST match the disc, otherwise, the disc won't play.

I've run into this very same problem with my home DVD players. Which both are non-Blue-Ray capable, but I was able to verify the Blue-Ray discs on my PC.

Veon tv manual

The eject button on the remote appears as an upward-pointing arrow with an underline - see below image. The eject button on the TV has a similar symbol.

However, I suspect that in your case, you might not be having a Remote.

This link says that your TV doesn't come with a Remote and DVD cannot be ejected without the remote :

DVD player wont eject dicks or play just say's disc error

You need to insert dicks into the DVD player, also, once it ejects the dicks, you should wait 20 minutes or so before attempting to eject more dicks.
