Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.

I can point you to your unit specific diagrams but need your complete model number. Not the number in the post title.

Having said that this manual is a huge help to answer your questions as far as access:
http://www.affordableappliance.com/Download%20Folder/Whirlpool-Roper-Kitchenaid-Estate%20Appliances/Refrigerator/In%20Door%20Ice%20Manual%20with%20Diagram.pdf

Instead of waiting for me to wait for you to locate your model number go to http://www.searspartsdirect.com and enter your model number on the upper right side of the page and then choose "model search" and then click "go" The diagram you want will be of the freezer door. You will have to select it to see it enlarged. Mousing over it enlarges it also or there is an option to "enlarge this picture"

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I am trying to install a new heat motor on a frigidaire refrigerator model frs26zrg. I am having frost build up on front side of ice maker, assuming its from flapper not closing all the way.

I assume your frost is at the front of the ice bin? If so, your correct. Room temperature air is leaking in to a 0 degree environment and causing frost build up. First, I would see if the ice door closes 100% without spring by pressing your finger on the door. I've had bad ice doors that were warped. Next, inspect supporting rod and spring and make sure they look ok. An eye test should suffice. Next, without heat motor, the spring should keep door shut 100%. See if that helps, good luck!

Bin full door open

I found the nylon "bin full" flapper in the center of the head of the shredder is supposed to trip a microswitch indicating bin full. I removed the flapper and tapped on the switch. It came loose with a puff of paper dust. I replaced the flapper and it's back to good as new. Seems the dust built up around the switch and it was stuck.

How to install spring on french door flapper/divider for Samsung RF266

On mine one end of the spring broke off in the hole on the door. It was on top of the hinge so it looked like a pivot pin. I found that this was the second hole for the spring. I pushed the end of the new spring up under the hinge and popped the broke piece of old spring out. Now I could see the 2 holes. You then need to put the spring into each hole. The hole on the flap also needs a white plastic sleeve if that is missing. that goes on the end of the spring and fits into the flap hole. Then the trick part is understanding how the spring works? If you put both ends of the spring in the holes and shut the flap, it now stays in position to close and be flipped open by the guide that swings it open to seal.

Good Luck.

Ice Dispenser keeps getting frosted over and not dispensing ice

The problem your having is that the door in the dispenser chute isn't closing completly and warm air is coming in, clashing with the freezer and the moisture in the warm air freezes and collects right there in the chute causing the ice build up. The more common parts that may cause this is the door flapper being bad or damaged, flapper soleniod, which helps the flapper doofr get a good seal, and electronic board on the dispenser itself.

The flapper on my exhaust fan is not closing

Most if not all exhaust fan flappers have a spring loaded door that will open when when the exhaust comes out and the springs will allow the door to shut completely. Check your local home store for replacement springs, if new springs are not available you may need to replace the part of the vent with the flapper on it, not very labor intensive but it is time consuming, as you need to remove whatever is being vented, like an over the range microwave or a vent hood.

The flapper where the ice comes out will not close on a ge

Determine if it is a spring or the delay mechanism causing the problem. Purchase the necessary parts and install from the front of the door. The bezel can be removed as well as the controls for easier access.

Icemaker problems

Woody, This is one of the easier dispenser assy. to fix. The flapper is pretty simple, it clips on to the hinge assy. The hinge assy. has a spring that closes the flapper. There is a selenoid that pulls the flapper open. You can look up the parts on the net to see what they would cost. Flapper-12562701, hinge assy. 67004119, solenoid-12575401,spring 12565502. I don't know if you need all of them, Im not there to see. But if you have some time on your hands you could save a lot of money doing it yourself. Once fixed, you should be good for a long time.
