Hello Prbanacey,

I understand that you are having a problem with your coffee Urn. I regret to inform you that no one sells replacement parts for this unit. The unit is over two years Salton does not support the unit any more either. Sorry

Thank you for choosing

XP7240 not draining properly

Replace that pressure valve and also inspect it for leaks from directly under the boiler, from that pressure valve and from the top of the hydraulic ram. If when you buy your valve you find the white housing will not fit where the old one came from you can just use the piston into your old housing. Check this before removing the hose clip from your old piston housing. If your old piston housing is leaking badly before you even do this job then you will need to replace the whole distributor as sometimes a piston housing retaining lug can fracture, there are 3 of them and they are part of the distributor.

How do you clear a solenoid valve blockage? Our Oscar pumps water without a problem and the steam works. As soon as I put coffee in the holder and tamp, even a little, nothing is dispensed and the water...

  • be sure from where it leaks? 1> solenoid valve the discharge way 2 > security valve of system.

  1. if it leaks from solenoid valve you must change the mechanical part of valve
  2. security valve of system may need to be repaired , after repair you must set the valve to start leaking at 11bar.
if it is solenoid it can be from the un-cleaning with detergent&blind filter, to provide longer life of new valve you should purchase them and clean with them periodicaly.

Sanborn 15 Gal. Air compressor "bleeder-valve" will not shut off when compressor shuts down. I replaced with a entire new unit ( which includes this bleeder valve ) and it does the SAME THING...

Leaking bleeder valve /unloader is caused by faulty check valve. Follow the air discharge hose from the pump head to the brass valve at the tank. The brass valve is the check valve designed to keep pressure in the tank and prevent air from loading the pump when the compressor is trying to start. Remove the discharge air tube at the check valve and test for leak. If leaking replace with generic valve available at or on ebay. Good holidays

As coffee exits the BrewStation, it comes out in a weak flow at first, then it starts to run down the back missing the cup. Coffee runs down to the base. Must tilt the entire assembly to get some coffee....

The filter screen at the release valve is clogged with scaled coffee. You need twist and pop it out and clean with a steel wire brush and then pop it back in place.

When I turn on the steam valve , nor water nor vapor comes out , coffee dispenses well

Probably a faulty "Steam Valve Cam" (plastic) which are prone to failure and then do not allow the steam/hot water needle valve to open.

Compressor wont restart because of head pressure

Piston air compressors have to unload to permit a restart, the two mot common types are an unloader valve or free air unloaders.

with an unloader valve this system uses a check valve mounted in the discharge line as it enters the tank, when the pump stops this check closes and does not permit the tank pressure to return to the pump. a unloader valve also opens to allow air pressure in the discharge line to vent, this valve is either on the pressure switch or on some models is on the pump, and is a centrifugal type.

Free air unloaders or head unloaders are a set of fingers that hold open the intake valves on the cylinders to permit the piston not to pump air against a head load, and once the pump is running the fingers retract to allow the pump to function as normal.

Check the chamber under the valve, make sure that it is not filled with coffee grounds and water, also there is a small discharge chute under the chamber to the drain tray make sure that is clear.

After coffee is made, clean water leaks out the bottom.

Remove the brew unit, find the white plastic valve inside, look under the valve you will see a small chamber, with a discharge going into the drain tray, clean out chamber and discharge.

Dayton air compressor to much head pressure to restart

Head pressure is caused by a malfunction of the unloader valve at the pressure switch or leaking checkvalve at the tank. Follow the discharge hose from the head to the brass valve at the tank. The brass checkvalve allows compressed air into the tank and not return to pump. Also connected at the checkvalve is the 1/4 airline to the pressure unloader at the pressure switch. This unloader releases the air in the discharge hose when the cycle completes. Look/listen for a release of air which lasts only for a moment after cycle at the pressure switch. Some pressure switch unloaders look like a tire stem valve with a small mechanical arm to activate pin. To check for faulty check valve at the tank, with air in tank remove the 1/4 line at the checkvalve and l look for leak. If leaking replace valve. Check valves and pressure switches are available at You can use generic parts instead of factory to save money, just pay attention to thread sizes. Good luck with you repair and email if you have questions.
