How to program my RM-SMXKB4j remote control to my compact component system MX-KC58 jvc stereo?

SOURCE: P-Error on JVC compact

1. Unplug the JVC compact component power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices.
3. Press and hold the JVC compact component power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the JVC compact component power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the JVC compact component
5. Open the menu to confirm that the JVC compact component is responding again.
6. Turn off the JVC compact componentand reconnect the devices.

yeah i have the same stereo and i know what u are talking about. to fix this all u have 2 do is press the demo/fm mode button next 2 the power button. that turns off the demo which is y it switches through the different audio functions. but i have another problem with mine it works and everything but 4 sum reasons it has problems playing burned cds, it works pretty well with cds bought but burned cds usually never work or takes min or hours 2 work. any suggestions

The disc played all the way thru to last song-then sound cut out-came back & a 'strange motorized' sound ...put in another disc..-no sound but that strange noise 'like a warped something or...


The problem is the pladder motor that the cd disc sits on, the bearing in the motor is seized or the lubricant has dried out. In order to fix the issue the entire assembly must be replaced or the component stereo. The motor is built in such a way it can not be directly serviced.

I have a jvc compact component system MX-C220 (old school, i know), and it wil shuffle through the different audio options without being prompted to do so. i don't have a remote and i keep having to run...

If your CD player dose not respond to normal commands, there is a problem with mechanism. Have serviced
