Sorry but there never was any Windows XP driver for this device. The company folded long before the introduction of Windows XP. I recommend to buy a modern drive... one that is atapi compliant and it won't need any driver.
Or take the drive out of the M. Solutions enclosure and mount it in a modern USB enclosure. No driver is needed when using in Windows XP .
However, if you get another enclosure, make sure it works for the same interface the drive has, example: If the current drive has IDE interface, get a IDE to USB enclosure.... if it has a scsi interface, get a SCSI to USB enclosure.
Micro Solutions is one of the few companies that ever made external USB drive enclosures that required a driver in Windows XP. All new USB drives are fully plug and play in Windows XP. Thank you for using Fixya!
