System error 125x: Sub-Tank Supply Error
Description: The Sub-Tank Sensor does not switch to less than half even though ink has been consumed.

In your case 125x, the x=3:Printhead Number 4 (Yellow)
The Ink Supply Station may have to be replaced.

You are going to have to get someone to look at it as the testing gets rather involved.

Error 0175: Bad CRC1, stop post task

Hi,

ERROR
0175: BAD CRC1, STOP POST TASK.

Firstly, this error is generated due to a couple of different reasons. First, there may actually be a problem with the power circuitry and the CRC function is actually doing it's job reporting the error. There are several tests you can perform to tell if this is the case with your system.

Secondly, this bad CRC error can be generated by sudden power loss to the system, especially if the system loses power during boot up or POST process. Both mean that there could be a problem with the motherboard and it needs replacing.

Try the steps below to determine what is wrong.

1) Start the system and watch the status lights in the LCD hinge or near the power button. They should flash once (some models twice) before the system shows a display. If they flash 3 times or more, you have a power problem.

2) Start the system and allow it to reach the CRC "stop post task" error message. Let it sit at this error for several hours. The system should sit at this error for ever or until user intervention occurs.

3) Some things to watch for while the system is sitting at the CRC error and running for several hours would be: Screen going black, System rebooting, System powering off, ect.. ect.. ANY activity by the system is a warning that power problems exist in the system.

4) Try restarting the system several times consecutively, shut the system down by holding the power button for 5 seconds, then restart keeping an eye on the status lights for any additional flickers.
All the above tests should be done with AC power applied and battery installed. Also ALL drives installed.

Regards.

Problem with dell 1200 inspiron power

please remove all the components like battery , ac adapter , any external device connected to system.
press and hold power button for 10 seconds and release the power button .
try to power on the system with plugging in ac adapter directly in to system .
if system powers on then connect battery after powering off the system.
if it does not powers on then remove memory, wireless card, harddrive and optical drive by following this link. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins2200/en/index.htm
and try to power on the system after all the componenets are removed.
if you get power light then start fixing all the component again one by one and try to isolate the faulty device.
if there is no power after all the componenets are removed then you will have to replace the system mother board.

My d530 minitower powers off unexpectedly and red lights starts to blink on System's LED//

Hi Kindly let me know how many times the red light blinks
Condition Code Service Actions Processor thermal protection activated. Power LED blinks red twice, once a second, followed by a two second pause.
  1. Make sure the computer air vents are not blocked and that the cooling fan is running.
  2. Open the hood, press the power button, and see if the processor fan spins. If the fan is not spinning, make sure the fan cable is plugged into the cable header on the system board, and that the fan is properly installed and seated.
  3. If the fan is plugged in and seated properly, but is still not spinning, replace the processor fan.
  4. Reseat the processor heatsink and make sure the fan assembly is attached to the heatsink properly.
Processor is not installed. Power LED blinks red three times, once a second, followed by a two second pause.
NOTE: This condition indicates a missing or improperly installed processor, not a defective one.

Make sure there is a processor in the system. Reseat the processor and verify that it is installed properly. Power failure (power supply is overloaded) Power LED blinks red four times, once a second, followed by a two second pause.
  1. Check the voltage selector, located on the rear of the power supply, is set to the correct voltage (the correct setting depends on the region).
  2. Open the hood and make sure the 4-wire power supply cable is fully connected to the power connector on the system board.
  3. Check if a device is causing the problem by removing all attached devices (such as disk drives and expansion cards), then power on the system. If the system enters POST, power off and replace one device at a time, repeating the procedure until the system power failure reoccurs. Replace the device that caused the failure, then replace each of the other devices and confirm that they are functioning properly.
  4. If you cannot isolate the failure to a specific device in the previous step, replace the power supply. **
  5. Replace the system board.*
Pre-video memory error. Power LED blinks red five times, once a second, followed by a two second pause, and five simultaneous beeps are sounded
  1. Reseat the DIMMs in the memory slots on the system board, then power on the system.
  2. Replace the DIMMs one at a time to isolate the faulty module.
  3. Replace 3rd-party memory with HP memory.
  4. Replace the system board.*
Pre-video graphics error. Power LED blinks red six times, once every second, followed by a two second pause, and six simultaneous beeps are sounded. For systems with a graphic card:

  1. Reseat the graphics card and then power on the system.
  2. Replace the graphics card.
  3. Replace the system board.*

For systems with integrated (on-board) graphics, replace the system board. PCA (system board) failure. ROM detected failure prior to video. Power LED blinks red seven times, once a second, followed by a two second pause, and seven simultaneous beeps are sounded. Replace the system board. Invalid ROM based on bad checksum Power LED blinks red eight times, once a second, followed by a two second pause, and eight simultaneous beeps are sounded.
  1. Reflash the ROM using a ROMPaq diskette.
  2. Replace the system board.*
System does not power on. No beeps or blinks since the system is not functioning. Press and hold the power button for less than four seconds. Perform the following steps depending on whether the hard drive LED turns green.

If the hard drive LED turns green, then:

  1. Make sure the voltage selector (which is located on the back of the power supply) is set to the correct voltage for your region.
  2. Remove the expansion cards one at a time until the 3.3V auxiliary light on the system board turns on. If removing a card turns the light on, replace the card and then see if the system works.
  3. Replace the system board.*

If the hard drive LED does not turn green, then:

  1. Make sure the computer is plugged into a functioning AC power outlet.
  2. Open the hood and make sure the power button is securely fastened in the power harness and that the harness is connected properly to the power connector on the system board. In other words, make sure that the power button is making contact with the power circuit.
  3. Make sure the power supply cables are connected properly to the power connectors on the system board.
  4. Check to see if the 3.3V auxiliary light on the system board is not turned on, replace the power supply. **
  5. Replace the system board.*

Dell Optiplex GX280 Power switch flashes white light rapidly system will not turn on Fans do not start

Outlet - unplug the power cable and put it on an outlet on its own Power Cord - make sure you remove the power cable from the back and plug it back in to make sure you have a good connection. things that cause this blinking light: Power Supply -open system and follow cables to make sure its connected well to each part. I/O Panel - this is where the power button is at . just open the system and follow it behind the power button.the flat cable going to the mother board , disconnect it. plug the power cable to the wall and if the system starts up then the power supply is good and the the cable that you just disconnected is bad.

If it still doesn't power up remove
memory
hard drive
dvd/cd drive
and start the system.
no luck then it is the systemboard.

I know you said it wont turn off using the front power switch, but I have something for you to try.....

When the system is on hold your hand on the power button for 30+ seconds and see if it beeps at you twice (2 times) if it does, the system will reset to factory firmware settings (depending on your firmware version) hope this helps.

Internal led of ML350 server is glowing.......how do i resolve it?

Hi Franceso, plz specify
Is it powering ON ?
Which LED is glowing?
These leds are there on the front panel :

1 Power On/Standby button
2 System power LED
Green = Power on
Amber = System shut down, but power still applied
Off = No power

3 Internal health LED (Wave sign in BOX)
Green = Normal
Amber = System degraded. To identify the component in a degraded state, refer to system board LEDs.
Red = System critical. To identify the component in a critical state, refer to system board LEDs.
Off = Normal (when in standby mode)

4 External health LED (power supply)
Green = Normal
Amber = Power redundancy failure
Red = Critical power supply failure
5 NIC 1 activity LED Green = Network link
Flashing = Network link and activity
Off = No link to network.
6 UID LED Blue = Activated
Flashing = System remotely managed
Off = Deactivated
7 UID button

If it is Internal health led then any internal h/w issue is suspected.
If it is external health led then any power supply or power source related issue is suspected.
Also check the status of the server & its IML (Integrated Management Logs) in ilo (Integrated Lights Out ) if it is configured. (2nd RJ45 port in rear)

Also make sure the cabinet is properly closed.
