Proper placement of mics versus the speakers of a PAS is important to avoid feedback. Your speakers need to be toward the audience from where the mic is. If the mic can "hear" the speakers you will likely have feedback. The mic should work even though it is a consumer grade mic.
WORD OF CAUTION: There are a LOT of fake SM58 microphones being sold... even on Ebay... SOME are fairly high quality and others are not.

Which input db to choose for mixer input in carlsbro amp powerline 2000 because there is 3 options +3db 0db -3db, i think 0db is high?

That will depend on what instrument you are planning to plug into it. Set the mains and the channel volume to a low-reasonable level and plug in a play. It the input is distorting, you need to use a lower input level. If it's too quiet, you need to use a higher input level.

Need to identify and find parts for the Pearl FZH725/C85 Drum Kit. It was delivered with missing parts. Specifically Floor tom, 14" tom and arms to hold it. Need some direction and guidance, thanks.

I am a drummer as well in a classic rock band. Most the time when I need a part for something for my drums. I will go to guitar center. But to save money eBay is your best bet. You go to guitar center to make sure you have the right part, but don't buy it there . Match it up and go to eBay, lot of drum companies use eBay to sell there stuff. Thanks mike

I have a Shure PSM 900 and for some reason I suffer from extreme dropouts. I have checked everything I could, batteries, limit switch settings (tried all of them), adjustments on the receiver/bodypack. ...

This system operates in the 600 MHz band. Things to consider: Never use rechargeable batteries in things designed for alkaline. Transmitter should be within 100 feet for reliable link. Interference from other sources will OVERIDE the low power signals for this unit. Such sources can for instance be the fourth harmonic of polce and taxicab radios... fifth harmonic of aircraft radios... other RF sources including computers. All of these devices are SECONDARY users that MUST tolerate interference from licensed primary users of the band. The devices are FM radio links and with FM a transmitter anywhere near the same frequency will "CAPTURE" the discriminator of the unit and you MAY not even hear the audio of the interfering transmitter/source because it may use a different modulation means, if it is even modulated. Just changing to a different channel is NOT likely to fix the problem long term either. Shure makes high quality devices and I doubt the device is defective... only interfered with or being used at too long a range. Use an unused wire in the snake if you use one to get the transmitter within 20 feet of you and it might fix the problem. This unit is NOT a diversity device as in ear monitors are really not diversity (with two antennas and receivers) like ones used to send the other direction often are.

Can you change the frequency range on a band that has been restricted?

The change would have to be made by the manufacturer to be FCC compliant. The PSM400 has 16 frequencies allocated... if those have become restricted, contact SHure as there has been some trade in offers.

Shure Srh 240, new headsett I bought and although the sound is good, I cant get the same volume as with my koss headsett, although I'm playing through my phone at the moment. is it has anything to do with...

I have also experienced differing volumes when using different brands of headphones (I have worked as a sound engineer part time in the past.) It's usually due to a difference in impedance between the different speakers using in the headphones (sometimes the impedance will be indicated on the headphones like 16 ohms.) If the two different kinds of headphones have differing impedances, the apparent volumes at the same level settings will be different

Why cant i get the same brilliant sound out of this unit compared to a carlsbro cdx 12x2mgs-fet digital reverb (not sure on these exact model nos as reading this second hand) this one sounded awsome ,but...

The mixer should have the same sound quality... the effects MAY be quite different. It is hard to know what you are refering to regarding sound "quality". One must setup the mixer correctly. Critical things are the trim controls and faders. Your faders should be near the unity setting when adjusted. Setting the EQ'a ia important and if you are stereo usage, setting the pan control can be important.

Make sure you turn the Phantom power on the Mbox2 on as the Shure 87A requires it being a condenser mic.Make sure you use XLR mic cables. These are just things to check on.

Have you considered any of the Behringer cabinets that are recommended companion pieces for this mixer. For more expensive gear have a look at JBL cabinets. The EON series is good. Have a look at what other bands you know are using and listen to their sound to see if its what you like.

Electric Guitar wont play through Amp

the buzzing is indicative of an open ground connection, check the cord by substitution or with an ohm meter, if the cord is good look at the connections to the jack inside the amp ( im guessing you built the amp from a kit). Is this a solid state amplifier? Tube amps have lethal votages and should not be experimented on without knowledge of electronic safety. Also if there is more than one input to the amp try plugging the guitar into another one and see if its still the same.
