Question about Alpine CDA-9827 CD Player
I've always had the MX turned on, everything sounds way better. Then the other day I notice the MX LED is not turned on and the stereo doesn't sound as good. Pressing teh MX button in the lower left hand corner of the display does not do anything. Any ideas???
Make sure the Deft control is set to OFF. Push the volume control until you see Deft on the screen and turn the knob until it says off on the screen.

I had the same problems. I ended up getting a new car battery and some how it all works again.

I recently had the same problem and was able to solve it by resetting the unit. Remove faceplate and press little inset button that is close to the center.
